The new QB ratings and signature styles in Madden are great. I'm still annoyed its not in NCAA but not as bitter as I first was.

LBRulz wrote a great blog on the new QB ratings in Madden and said they are fantastic and do a great job of giving you a unique feel for each player.

Must read imo.

Robo QB is most likely dead for Madden '10. People asked about it and CL Adembroski answered: http://www.osatwork.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2039565689#post2039565689

Here is what I saw on Community Day... understand much of this may have changed.

QB Accuracy was greatly reduced and incompletions were far more realistic. I had games where I completed 70%, games where I completed 30%. Same with the CPU.

There is a real difference between a good QB and a poor one. You really feel it in terms of accuracy and range. Velocity, not so much, but hopefully this'll get tuned further.

Pressure seemed to have almost too much of an effect, with simply making contact with a QB at any time during his throwing motion caused a lame duck to fly into the air.

Throwing with players in his face, the QB would actually use a different animation, shortening his stride and taking something off the ball a bit. This was a huge improvement.

Throwing on the run was not the deterrent it needed to be. You could still get decent velocity throwing while running away from your arm.

All that said, they were things we, as a team, addressed and that the Madden team assured us would be given a second look. What I can say is this; it's definitely significantly better than 09 or any previous Madden (the simple fact that pass velocities have been slowed to realistic rates alone accomplishes this), whether it's going to be tuned by the time it goes gold is another question entirely, and only the Tiburon guys can speak to that.

I think the running thing is fine. There's plenty of qb's that throw the ball just as well running as standing velocity wise - accuracy is where you lose a bit sometimes.

I know when I throw a football, my best throws often come when I'm running to my left (I'm right handed). Good velocity and accuracy.

I agree. I think throwing on the run is easier than people think. As a right though, I wouldn't want to roll left. The footwork is lousy.

You see a ton of guys throw on the Run. Big Ben is extremely good at it. Farve was.

I think if you can't throw on the run now that's a problem. Hell even Tom Brady can throw on the run.
