The Reds take the final game of the series from the Blue Jays 4-0. The Reds scored all 4 runs in the fifth inning off the Jays starter as Jay Bruce and Chris Dickerson each hit home runs. Edinson Volquez struggled a little with control as he threw almost 100 pitches threw 7 innings and walked two. But he only allowed 3 hits and struck out 7. Too bad I didn't win yesterday. The squad was a little tired and so Jerry Hairston and Ramon Hernandez got rested. The offense has picked up the long ball as I hit 9 HRs in the series against the Jays. Note the incredible 3 stolen bases! I pitched well too and I'm starting to take a little off pitches when I want to spot the ball better. Series Stats

I've got a 3 game series with the Indians. The first game was a frustrating loss on a few levels. I lost 7-2 but was up 2-0. In face, Harang pitched very well in the game and I didn't yank him until the 7th inning when he was up 2-1. He was tired (not terribly though) and started the 7th giving up a couple cheap hits. Then David Weathers comes in and allows three straight hits and the wheels just fell off. They got 4 in the bottom of the 7th to take a 5-2 lead and cruised to win. But I tried to get the guy at third on a sac bunt and failed costing me. Of course, the Show screws over my stats with HORRIBLE error scoring. When it rains it pours. I finally see a booted ball by Jeff Kepinger at third base and they don't score it a hit. The stupid thing is the game often gives you an animation to create an error and then doesn't score it right. Despite the fact the hit bounced off my 3Bs chest, it was recorded as a single to short. This video is bad but take a look. This really needs to be fixed for '10 and I really have my doubts.
