Here's a report from my home opener in Nashville:

Here a couple different videos of my 3-run homerun. Sorry about the music in the background. If you make videos at the end of the game your music gets mixed in. If you use the replay vault during the game, you just get game sounds.

Here's a photo of the homerun swing:

Steroids in Baseball?

LOL, I'm totally clean man!

That's what is cool about the training system in RTTS. You don't see big increases during the year when you apply your training points to a skill, but then in the offseason your progression reflects where you spent a lot of time during the in-season training the previous year. I really loaded up on my power vs RHP training points and it made a big difference in the offseason (+16). I wish I had made the 40-man spring roster because I wanted to see how my bat was against the MLB pitchers. I got smoked in the '09 spring training but now that I'm hitting better I wanted to know if it was the quality of the pitchers I face. Some of these AAA pitchers can hit triple digits, but the ones I tee off on are the mid-80s fastball throwers. With those guys I have plenty of time to judge the pitch location and unload on them :)
