Careful with this one Rudy,a couple of "cheerleaders" from OS claim there's nothing wrong with the pass rush I even read one post that the person claims "we did to get out stick skills up",and another that claimed "we need to learn more about football".....that's the reason why 98% of OS is having problems with the pass rush. Who knew...it wasn't bad programming.....it was a lack of knowledge and stick skills that were preventing me from getting pressure on the cpu ...glad I know that now .I'm sorry, but I can't believe some of the bs excuses these idiots come up with to mask the fact that this game isn't on par with 09. |

Moylan55 is the biggest cheerleader of them all. He sees almost NO problems with the game and said this the other day. "After playing the demo and reading about NCAA 10, I think NCAA 10 is the greatest football game of all time." He also thinks the graphics are improved on the demo from 09. Most people disagree. He's on the 360 but I know the PS3 demo is definitely downgraded in the graphics department. |

There is a thread on OS asking about patch philosophy and Adam Thompson spoke up. He said they don't ship anything broken knowing they can patch it. They only use patches to fix bugs that are missed by their testers, EA's testers, Sony and MS testers. I'm very tired of people blaming QA for problems. My work gets process controlled and if I do a lousy job is it the QA guy's fault for not catching a big error or is it my fault for putting out a crappy work product? I called him out on this and said he missed a huge component for catching errors - the core gameplay team. They should know if the pass rush works and if the sliders work. Those are huge components of a game. Those aren't bugs and glitches that we should leave up to a high school junkie making minimum wage. Sliders are a huge component of sports gaming. And the NCAA team has had them broken two years in a row. That falls on the big boys at EA and I hope someone gets a lot of heat for that crap. |

That IS a bunch of BS! This issue SHOULD fall squarely on the devs. shoulders. These gameplay issues ARE the responsibility of the devs. (imo) NOT the QA guys. What EA is doing is shipping an admittedly broken game. Sliders in a sports game are just as important a gameplay element as the core (imo)....and when those don't work (2 years running now)...I'm sorry, but somebody should be held accountable, and dealt with properly. |
