NCAA is just getting the shaft. While Madden gets new QB ratings and speed sliders and everything else, we get win socks, field goal nets and now Custom Conferences! This might be good for online dynasties but I don't have any interest in changing the way the conferences are supposed to be. Nor do I care about online dynasty. I'm honestly close to giving up on NCAA and just buying Madden. I'm really annoyed by the direction of the NCAA team. |

Remember the NCAA team can't really jack any of the new cool features since it's got to be in Madden FIRST before the NCAA team gets it. We'll have to take a wait and see approach before writing off NCAA. |

They just announced something stupid like an online fan vote section to vote for your favourite team. This is actually a marketing feature! What the hell is the NCAA team doing? Freaking loser features and Madden gets hardcore upgrades. The disappointment grows. |

Don't worry dude, at least you can vote for Michigan... and enjoy your 1 new camera angle while you watch the QB throw a perfect laser off his back foot.

Everyone has been making excuses for NCAA as to why they weren't having the new QB ratings. OMT finally said they didn't have time to debug the extra work in the database which I thought was at least a reasonable answer until another poster called him out and said he had stated earlier that time wasn't a factor. Here is OMT's response on OS.
So basically I was right all along. There are no excuses or bugs or any other good reason as to why Madden is getting the new QB ratings and NCAA isn't. The NCAA team made a deliberate decision to do something else instead which I'm really disappointed in. The NCAA team has been focusing on crap while Ian Cummings and the Madden crew have been focusing on creating a true sim. How much more can I shake my head? Edited by Rudy, Mar 24 2009, 08:14 AM.
