Russ can plead ignorance all he wants. When this was the #1 issue with last year's game and it is the exact same in this year's game, it wasn't overlooked. It was ignored. NCAA caters to the arcade audience now, plain and simple. A major change in direction and leadership is needed before I even think about jumping back on board to what was, for years, my favorite video game franchise of all time. It's a damned shame. I used to count down months in advance for the NCAA Football release day. It was, no kidding, one of my sacred days of the year. EA has ruined that for me. Thanks a lot, EA. Like Ted said, they need Peter Moore to get involved, chop some heads, and get someone who wants to get this game right. I believe in Ian over at the Madden side of things. I have nothing but disdain for the NCAA developers. And yes, the time they spent on season freaking showdown is time they should have used to make their game play like real football. You know, where the QB occasionally faces some pressure from the DL. It is amazing that they try to pass this crap off as football. Either fix this EA or you have lost as loyal an NCAA customer as you ever had. Unless some sort of revolutionary patch is released (and we all know how last year's slider patch turned out) I am not purchasing NCAA this year. I am frustrated and sick of their excuses and outright lies. |

Stoncold32 on OS has now posted the new camera (which I don't like) is tipping pass on the play action passes. Just another crappy thing. Way too much stupid crap in the demo. I would expect to see this from a game like Backbreaker but not on the 17th NCAA game and the 4th on this generation. Plus the lack of features makes me really wonder how long it's going to take to get this game right. I'm 90% sure I'm passing on this game - even if the sliders work. I really want that old camera back too. I can guarantee you I'm not buying on day one. This will be a rental after patches only. |

Disturbing how bad it sounds like the franchise is slipping. |

I must say, the entire direction this offseason for NCAA was full of disappointing news in terms of the direction of this franchise compared to Madden. I think NCAA 10 will be the culmination of that. I think some of the aggressive/normal/conservative stuff could be good but I think it will be overdone. I thought the pre-play guesses at run middle, left, right and pass would be good for the young and casual gamer but isn't that what your play call is supposed to be about? I shift or slide my DL and LBs before the snap based on where I feel the run is going. Overall, NCAA 10 is not worthy of my avatar so it's back to 09. I'm really hoping someone comes up with NCAA 10 rosters for '09. There is a bit of that going on but nobody has committed to full rosters. |

I'm not on the fence at all with this game. It kinda bothers me that I can find no reason to buy it this year. I can overlook some stuff, still-I see nothing that warrants a purchase. thanks EA-College football is cancelled this time around in my neck of the woods.
