The blending and the new QB target windows are in NCAA. But the new short/medium/long/roll out/PA ratings will NOT be in NCAA this year. Only Madden. Ian Cummings erred in his last blog. I'm disappointed as an NCAA fan and pretty pissed.

But this is how it is each year. Madden gets something else that NCAA doesn't get.

Yeah, but it's still a pisser. Especially because I am a bigger college fan than pro fan.

Rudy, I have not read the blogs. What do you mean by blending and QB windows? Does it sound like NCAA will at least be improved over last season? Last year the lack of a pass rush killed it for me, among other things.

The blending animations have to deal with a QB being able to get a pass off sometimes even if hit. They can blend the animations so that you don't always have the feeling that your QB just takes a sack all the time as soon as the sack animation kicks in.

The accuracy windows are a much better this. This is a huge improvement as well. The old accuracy window was a simple circle. The new ones emphasis where a QB will try to err on the side of caution. On out routes a QB is more likely to throw it out of bounds than throw it behind the WR ending up as a pick. This will also produce more incompletions where the ball just hits the ground. Excellent news. Here are the past and future diagrams for an out pattern. New windows are being designed for all routes.
