Rac told me that the momentum in the players is different between NCAA and Madden but that they aren't worlds apart either. (per twitter).

We'll see in the demo sooner than later.

From developer Russell on OS:

About Defense...

Pursuit Angles, Defensive line tipping passes, Man Coverage, Press/Release (from WR/DB interactions), and Adaptive AI all make a really big impact. I should also point out that players in deep zones (depending on zone coverage rating) will be more aggressive in going after passes.

So examples:
* Just taking a speed back and running outside does not equal a score (pursuit angles)
* "Elite" Corners make a bigger impact between the abilities to jam receivers and simply cover better in Man
* Adaptive AI can force you to change up your play calling. I say can because if you are a way better team, all the reaction ratings in the world will not always help the defense
* And just more incompletions in general help defense (tip passes and more realistic misses on passes)

I know it`s early, but oh well.

With all the improvements and what the developers are saying this game is looking like it will be one of the best, if not the best in the series.

Any word on when they will drop the demo?

Also Rudy how do you think this game will end up shaping up?

I'm cautiously optimistic about this game. I think it will easily be the best on next gen. Will it be as fun as some of the older NCAA games in the past? I'm not sure but I think the odds are looking good here.

The demo has already been submitted but EA usually doesn't bring out the demo until 2-3 weeks before release (July 14) so I wouldn't expect to see one until the end of June.
