A leaked box cover to Gamestop indicates a few noteworthy things. Most we knew about but it appears Create-A-School (CAS) makes a return. FCS will most likely not be in the game. I know the devs said that would require more work than CAS and that if they did CAS, teams could create any school not in the game and just assign them to a conference. |

From gameplay guy Russ Kiniry on NCAA Strategies: Actually coverage is something that has been worked on a good bit the last couple weeks. A lot of attention has been paid to those deep safeties and how they play... so yes we are looking into making sure the coverage is better overall, but also takes a players ratings into account more as well. The CPU Passing logic got a bit of a rewrite a few weeks ago and they will test you down the field, I actually just had SMU on the field to check out a pretty open passing attack and it was nice to see them throw some deep outs and posts down the middle of the field." http://www.ncaastrategies.com/utopia/showpost.php?p=1953182&postcount=519 |

What concerns me is that he said the cpu passing logic got a "bit" of a rewrite. It needed an overhaul! Was this a tweak to an earlier fix? I don't want just deep outs and posts either. I want streaks as well! |

![]() The official announcements are only a couple hours away but most of the covers for NCAA Football 10 are out. Gamestop has posted up all of them except the 360 version. On the PSP it is USC QB Mark Sanchez and the PS2 is Texas DE/OLB Brian Orakpo. Already known was Utah QB Brian Johnson who captured the PS3 version. I’ll be updating this posting when the final cover athlete is revealed. All signs point to that being Michael Crabtree. Thanks for bryan121 for the tip. Update: Despite EA advertising that all the covers would be revealed on College Football Live today they only announced Brian Johnson. Apparently now this is “cover week”. Source: pastapadre.com |
