With the sync issue taking its toll, fighting for one of the non bugged goblins is really a battle greater than any monster could provide. But, I finally had gotten one! I was swinging near it, and its health was going DOWN! Yay! Finally!. It was great when it worked. Slashing, hacking, chopping! The goblin finally died. Then, of course, it is time for loot! Sweet joyous loot. Well, about the time I killed this mob, about 6 other people saw me kill it and swarmed on me like a pack of crack hungry drug addicts. Then, just as I was going to click an item out of the tombstone, it was gone. I was left with nothing. This was not actually a negative experience. Right off the bat I got to experience the cold reality that is Darkfall, even with the horrible sync issues. Edited by protosome, Feb 27 2009, 02:55 AM.

My blade skill is at like 20 now jus aim for the blood spurts I kill constantly. It is a freckin bitch thou.... |

Yeah just wait for the mob to start attacking you and just start backing up and swinging forward. You'll eventually kill it, even if it runs away wait for it to come back and start fighting you again. Try to get away with a friend and find some zombies or something. Goblins are just way too overpopulated to deal with. Either way, sync issues are being patched as I write this.. so my post doesn't really have any meaning =p Except the zombie part. |

I found some earth elementals that wouldnt fight back and would stand still that could be killed quite easily, I was killing a few of those but the place got pretty busy with people and they'd all just out loot me on my kills due to 400+ ping ![]() Ran around a bit and explored world is cool looking, not many mobs though. Still im optimistic and can see myself having some fun in this game. Any beta testers noticed any big differences from the end of the beta? I remember people saying 'blahlblah feature isnt enabled because its beta' anything like that you've seen so far? |

I don't really like the open looting. If you kill a mob, you should have some 5 second leeway to at least loot the damn thing instead of those ninja looters getting undeserved loot. |

I don't mind them being able to loot but they should flag rogue for a little while so people fight off the looters without penalty. |
