As long as I could 100% definitely no-maybes-about it play on Friday, I'd be OK with it :)

If i'd played beta maybe I wouldn't be so anxious to give it a shot. I'm excited but its not a deal breaker for me if it takes a few more days or whatever.. that said I do keep refreshing pages every few minutes ;)

I couldn't care less about when I get to play...

But when promises are broken that involve me wasting my time in order to be a part of launch-day, then it gets me fairly angry.

A simple "hey, we need another day to get this sorted out" would have been fine. Or, "well, we need a couple of days to ensure a smooth billing and launch. We'll have definative information for you on Friday about the new anticipated retail release". Anything....EXCEPT locking their forums and irc chat and not constantly updating progress towards meeting their goals for their customers.

Instead, they insist that launch is just about to happen, for the entire day that I've been waiting. And...they've had several days to iron this stuff out and figure out whether or not they can fullfill the promised product on-time to their [now] paying customers.

it just means it'll be later until everyone realizes what a failure of a game it is rather than sooner.
