The Official Rules UPDATED 2/14; Don't bother to play unless you read.

Welcome all to BRR2.0. We're on a new board, and we're done with all this ridiculous beta-testing-like roleplaying. This round will be active and it will be intense. Of course, in order for this board to achieve it's full potential- everyone needs to read and understand the rules.

IC RULES (Basic Rules of the BR program):

1. Each participant upon enterting the game will recieve the following:

  • 1 weapon chosen at random by BRAC.
  • 1 map
  • 1 compass
  • 1 flashlight
  • 3 SMALL loaves of bread (about 6" long), 2 liter size water bottles, 1 apple

2. Any bags full of personal items that participants have with them at the start of the game will NOT be confiscated by BRAC and participants will be allowed to use these personal items to their advantage during the game. Please note, we do encourage participants to use personal items creatively- but if it is found that a participant was carrying a conventional weapon such as a firearm, it will be confiscated.

3. Danger zones must be avoided at all costs. New danger zones are assigned every 48 hours at EXACTLY 10PM eastern time. (Use a time zone map to convert into your local time zone). If a danger zone is suddenly assigned to a square that a player is already in, the player has 12 hours to move their character out of the danger zone. Not moving will result in death by collar demolition.

4. Any attempt to rip off a participant's collar will result in death by collar demolition. The collars are equipped with censors that can tell when such actions are being performed on it. "Ripping off" includes the following: pulling/tugging forcefully, using tools to break it, trying so hack into the collar's AI.

OOC RULES: (Basic roleplaying guidelines)

1. No powerplaying, godmodding, etc... If you don't know what that means, basically just don't act like you're invincible.

2. No intentional personal insults to the person BEHIND the character. Yes, we allow player rivalries, but NOT harassment of the individuals behind the computer screen.

3. Keep everything PG13. That means that you should elaborate with your fights and violence, but let's not get too gruesome. Also, romances are encouraged- but please, no lemons.

4. Administors, moderators, and oh yeah- the director are to be RESPECTED. They have positions of power for a reason. If you want to be the next Hartsock, we have these things called the "delete" and "ban" buttons. (Hartsock was a player from the last round who was stupid enough to sexually harass the director, resulting in automatic collar explosion).

5. Don't be a sore loser. Just because you die in this game doesn't mean you no longer have a say in anything that happens in the game. Check out the "Heaven" board for more details about how posting there once you die can potentially save another player still left in the game.

Lastly, in the words of Kitano: "Life is a game, so play hard and see if you're worth it."

I wish you all the best of luck and look forward to seeing how this all goes down.
