Short Version: 1. Write in English 2. Be nice 3. No double posting 4. Keep signatures no bigger than 300 (or two 150) pixels in height and 600 in width 5. Credit the work of others 6. Check the rules belonging to particular forums (contests, plugging, creative boards) Long Version: 1. Write in English - some of our members aren’t native English speakers and will therefore find our writing in text speak harder to understand and they may pick up bad habits from reading your appalling text speak or tYpIn LyK dIs. ENGLISH! Paragraphs, full sentences, the works. We don’t expect you to be perfect but it doesn’t hurt to try. 2. Be nice - there’s a difference between “that’s crap” and “that’s not to my taste”. Go for the latter. 3. No double posting - edit your post and ask a staff member to bump it if you have something else to say on the same topic. You may however double post in the creative forums, but not on the same day. 4. Keep signatures no bigger than 300 pixels in height and 600 in width - any bigger and it takes up half the page and sets the board alignment off. If you have any issues please speak to a staff member. 5. Credit the work of others - if you didn’t create it, it’s not yours, therefore the other person deserves their credit for creating it. 6. Check the rules belonging to particular forums (contests, plugging, creative boards) so that your posts don't get deleted/ignored and you don't end up making a faux pas.
