I Hate To See A Topic Without Posts; You want drams?

Well, I haven't been a member on here for an hour yet but this old DEADDOG hates to see an empty topic folder. I am on the eastern coast of NC and that makes it a long haul to Moab for sure. One of the local guys in a recent MFC experienced riders class was talking up Deals Gap also known as the Tail of the Dragon. It is a legendary road with over 300 curves in less than 12 miles. It seems the drama occurs on the road and on the WebPages. Tail of the Dragon Seems the local businesses are up in arms over TN Highway Patrols enforcement policies. Now I am not one to talk bad about the law but seems like telling the truth and showing pictures to verify it doesn't have much (Which is it effect or affect?) impact on the law enforcers. The beef seems to be alleged selective enforcement on tourists coming to ride the dragon. They talk like the THP raked in the dough on violators in the past. The businesses there are in the pinch because a apparent tourism boycott is hurting them while nearby NC businesses are prospering. I guess that should start the drama out right. Check and see. I was thinking about making the 300-mile trip out there to see the sights but I can stay home and get into trouble without THPs assistance. dd
