Needing new brakepads or stainless steel brakelines for your 2008 KLR650? I just received a shipment from Galfer. The brakepads that I will be selling are the popular Green compound for the front and the long lasting Black compound for the rear. These brakepads look much better than the early model KLRs, mostly because as you well know the 08 KLR now is using a twin piston caliper so the brake pads to fit these are much larger. They look like they will also do away with the problem that the early model KLR had about not getting both "ears" of the brakepads installed correctly. The stainless steel brakelines should give a better feel to your stopping. The problem with the extra loop in the rear brakeline is supposed to be addressed with these new Galfer brakelines. I have both lines in stock with a black covering. If you would like another color, I can get those but most likely will have to order those. |
