Typical Baltids, though I would have thought there was a higher incidence of light hair.

Why so few uber Nordics?? Pohjamaalane must explain this! Must be dem Russkies again.

On a serious note I don't think they look so similar to Finns that people on anthroboards are always implying. Of course most of them would pass but Estonians and Latvians are more similar looking than Estonians and Finns imo despite the latter 2 speaking closely related languages.

Latvians look closer to Estonians than Finns do, yes. It doesn't mean that Latvins and Estonians look like identical twins eg Latvians have more 'woggish' look and narrower faces. Still it is way easier to distinguish between Estonians and Finns than between Estonians and Latvians.

'Woggish' and Latvian are two things I never expected to hear next to each other.

Estonians do look a bit more closer to Latvians.

Estonians have more of a stronger Baltid element compared to Finns who have much more Nordids as much as Baltids.

Estonians to me are some of the most beautiful looking people I have seen.

Modern day Estonians in my opinion are roughly a result of different migrations to the area-
UP Northern European survivors+ Comb pottery ceramics culture (they probably brought a Finno-ugric language into Estonia)+ Corded ware culture people (proto-Balts)+additional migrations on the times of written history, mostly after 16th, 17th, 18th centuries' demgraphic catastrofes after which different migrants came to the country, predominately among Russians, Latvians and Finns. As well local coastal Swedes and Russian old believers might influence the ethnogenesis of modern Estonians. Baltic Germans as well but I dont think it should be overrated because BGermans owned a different social status.

Yes, it has but all individuals posted in this thread are ethnic Estonians, not Russians.

I could say the same that you told Pioneer to yourself too :P

As evidenced by genetics, Swedish rule had no effect on Latvians. It did, however, have some effect on Estonians but this topic is not about them. I could elaborate about this more if you're interested.

Those who might influence Estonians a little bit might be coastal Swedes living on Estonian West coast and on tiny islands till the second world war. But they weren´t connected to Swedish rule over Estonia because they came to Estonia before Swedish kingdom´s rule. But anyway, even coastal Swedes weren´t significantly influental group because they lived detachedly from Estonians and had no significant connections to them.
Those groups who influenced Estonians were Finns, Russians and Latvians who migrated into Estonia after 16th, 17th, 18th centurys´ demographical crisises like plague and faminine and helped to reproduce the population. These three groups Estonized quickly according to Estonian historians. So, I think you seem to overrate Swedesh influence a bit.
