Forum Rules updated; new Warning System; more Ancestry options

Administrator Posts: 2,640 Group: Administrators Member #1 Joined: Mar 25, 2008 Gender: Male Ancestry: Southern European	I've updated the Forum Rules for clarity and to cover some issues that have been coming up lately. Beyond some re-wording and re-arranging here and there, the Profile and Reporting Rules section is new, and many of the Posting Rules are new. So make sure you're up to date. I've also changed the warnings from the restrictive 5-pip system to a clearer, more flexible percentage system, where each warning equals 5%. Since there are many variables and every situation is different, there's no strict rule on what number of warnings results in what penalties. In general, the higher the warn level, the longer and more frequent the suspensions, and the greater the chance of being permanently banned. However, if the warnings are minor and spread out over a long period of time, that will decrease the severity of penalties, but if they're more serious and concentrated in a short period of time, that will have the opposite effect. Finally, I've added several more specific options to the Ancestry profile field that appears next to posts. Go to Preferences > Update Profile > Ancestry to make any changes. If that's still not specific enough and you'd like to elaborate on your background, or if it's very mixed and complicated, you can always fill out the Ethnicity field (in the same place) with anything you want up to 100 characters.

The old system wasn't stricter, it was restrictive because it only displayed five pips. Read the Forum Rules and the 2nd paragraph of the OP in this thread. You can get a warning for any rule violation, but some are more serious than others. The one you got was minor, so don't worry about it.

These 2 days I was only defending my self from being labeled mutt. so it must be this reason but I will wait and see what CG or RR got to say.

But I will never agree with Caucasoid Negroid terms. I am 100 % African. Autosomally we are made up of 3 components while most Eurasian nations are made up on average of 5-6 components Paternally we have 1 Paternal founding father 81% and most nations on earth have 10-15 Founding fathers each contributing minimum 5 % The only thing that makes us look a bit different than other Africans is Mtdna M, R0, L3 and other foreign ones that I don't know off Anyways I won't threaten anyone because it's useless because you won't see people in real live anyways. It's not a code. In the Admin CP go to Preferences > Warn System > Warning Display Type and select "Percentage Only".
