The top 10 blondest countries in europe would be (in no specific order) the 5 nordic countries (finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland) + 3 baltic states (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia) + The Netherlands + Belarus. Some areas in northern germany, NW russia and perhaps coastal flemish belgium would rank high aswell, but It's about countries, not regions.

Its funny how most men fail to tell apart natural blondes from fake ones.

Most women you posted are either fake blondes or highlight their hair color. I can easily tell the difference..

If that is the case than why don't Portuguese and Italian descendent women for example, not dye their hair blonde at the same rate as Polish descendent women ?

First, those women are hardly fully polish descent, second many jews whom immigrated to the US were polish jews. They are not representative for poland by any means, still poland blondism should be about 25-30% of the population, definitely not even close to the blondest countries in europe, and probably even darker than germany as a whole.

Answer the question, why don't a high percentage of Southern European women dye their hair blonde like Slavic women and Northern European women ?

There are not even that many fake blondes in Southern Europe, let alone natural blondes. Most Southern European women seem to be perfectly happy with their brunette hair color, hence why most don't go blonde.

Same for Middle Eastern Caucasoid women. Most of them don't dye their hair blonde either. It is mostly Slavic women and Northern European women who are obsessed with being blonde.

Hobo, all American white women dye their hair blonde including those of Italian descent, Elisabeth Hasselbeck on your list being one of them...
Here are some more:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Anyways, like it was said most of these women have obviously dyed hair and most of them are distantly Polish or not even ethnic Polish; Lisa K is Jewish, so is Gweneth, so is Leelee; the later two are also heavily mixed with other European ancestries. Anna Chlumsky is Slovak.

Martha Stewart is the only actual Polish one in your list and also the only one who actually looks Polish.

Here are some fully Polish Americans most of them are communist or post communist era migrants.

Agnik if Italian women dye their hair blonde at the same rate as Polish women, than why are there are a lot more blonde women walking the streets of Warsaw than there are in the streets of Napoli ?

The vast majority of Italian women do not dye their hair blonde.

All of these are Italian women.

Italian women like those in the pics greatly outnumber Italian women with bottle blonde hair. Most brunet women in Italy are not ashamed of their natural hair color.

When I google images of Polish women I see more blondes than brunettes, which means that most brunet Polish women are ashamed of their natural hair color and that Poland is one of the fake bottle blonde capitals of the world.

Here is the link to the google image search of Polish women.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&gbv=2&biw=1024&bih=686&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=polish+women&oq=POLISH+WOMEN&aq=0&aqi=g9g-m1&aql=1&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=309196l313643l0l314999l23l19l6l0l0l3l242l1548l5.6.1l13l0

The majority of the images show Polish women with blonde hair. Why are most Polish women obsessed with looking as Aryan as possible ?

Do most Polish men have a preference for blonde hair in a woman ? Is that why most Polish women dye their hair blonde.

I'vent seen that many northern european women dying their hair to a completly different hair-shade than they naturally are with the exception of some Russian and British/Irish women. It's simple, unlike in southern europe, most women in central/northern and eastern europe were born with natural blond hair, but in many cases their hair darkened throught adulthood in a very noticeable way (unlike in the case of most southern europeans), so they want to be as blonde as they used to be when they grew up.

Same for Middle Eastern Caucasoid women. Most of them don't dye their hair blonde either. It is mostly Slavic women and Northern European women who are obsessed with being blonde.

I will explain it again. Most women in Northern-central and eastern europeans countries have been blonde at some stage of their lifes, yet many of them will usually turn into brunettes/light brunettes when they hit into their puberty ages (12-17). Now, a girl who grew up as a natural blonde through her childhood and suddenly started losing it will inmediately start dying or highlighting her hair because she has the feeling that something used to belong to her is fading away. In southern europe It's kinda different , considering that even most of the grown-up women even had pretty dark hair going back to their infance period, and therefore they don't have the same feeling of getting back what they used to have. The minority of blond children in southern europe usually fade into dark shades by the toddler stage, hence they don't remember It as a own characteristic of themselves but rather can tell it as an anecdote that once they were blond.

There are many cases of hair darkening, being more prevalent in areas where blond genes are usually present but not so dominant/strong (like the UK, Ireland, switzerland, Bavaria and many areas of easter europe)

l lived in southern Europe so l know how it is and yes women frequently dyed their hair blonde. lts common in all of Europe, even the near east? lf you don't believe me go to Lebanon. ln Eastern Europe its just fashion trend and we tend to be late on fashion trends, also dying hair a reddish purple is common too.

l don't really see what your google search was trying to prove as most of those were plastic barbies and not representative of Polish girls and you'll pretty much get a similar result searching other EE countries:

And even Southern European ones:

Anyways, l think its obvious that blonde hair is more common in Warszawa, Kiev, Bratislava, or Budapest than in Napoli. There are even more blondes in Milan than there are in Napoli. So what point exactly are you trying to make?
Like bender said its more common for women who were blondes as children to dye their hair blonde or blonder, many times it's because they have a shade of light brown or dirty blonde hair that is deemed unattractive and other times it's just to look younger.
When looking at hair color it's best to look at the hair color of men than women. Here are some average people both women and men from Warszawa in case you're interested (you'll see both the dyed red hair and blonde hair):

There is more darker haired people in Europe than there is light. Plus women especially like dying their hair for various reasons, often as they age they want to cover up the white or gray hairs where a light shade works better than a dark shade.

Anyhow, Italy, Spain, France, US prefer dark hair, especially Black whereas the UK they prefer brown with blond and black about even in preference:

Quote:

Badoo, the world's largest Social Network for meeting new people, has polled 2,000 UK males to find the features they find most attractive in the opposite sex. The results have been surprising, with blondes being beaten by brunettes.

In fact a third (33.1%) of all those polled said they find brown hair more attractive than blonde (29.5%), black (28.6%) and red (8.8%), contradicting the adage that gentlemen prefer blondes.

A further surprise the study uncovered is that 38.8% of guys looked for a dress size of 12-14 in their perfect woman, with only 10% looking for a size 6-8. This proves that whilst magazines fill their pages with skinny models, UK males actually prefer a more average build. Only 4.2% preferred size 18+ whilst a curvy size 14-18 was the second most popular with 25.5% of the vote.

Blue eyes still rule the roost in the UK however, with a massive 40.2% of guys preferring blue eyes over brown (29.2%), green (17.5%) and hazel (13.1%).

When all of the pieces of the puzzle are compiled, it's TOWIE's Lauren Goodger who has all of the attributes that men in the UK find most attractive. Her brown hair, blue eyes and average build give her the perfect combination for being the girl next door and the type of girl that UK males find most attractive.

Badoo also ran the study in France, Spain, Italy, US and Brazil and came back with surprising results. In fact only the French said they preferred their women skinny with all others saying they prefer average to curvy women. In all of the countries surveyed, black was the most popular hair colour (except the UK). The UK was also the only country that opted for blue eyes, with brown and green topping the table around the world.

Yes I do agree with that.

The blondest countries(considering only natives) in my experience are Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Netherlands. Finland despite the blonde myth has quite a lot of people with really dark hair, but also a lot of very blond ones. Iceland is the darkest nordic country (easily due to genetical Irish influence) and darker than the Netherlands aswell according to a recent study comparing both icelandic and dutch populations (farmers).

I've met quite a lot of people from baltic states and Estonia althought with quite a few very blond people is overrated in terms of blondism, they have quite a lot of bleached blondes and also there are a lot of very dark haired individuals, the majority is definitely a light shade of brown to dark blond and people with darker than light brown is definitely more common than scandinavia or the netherlands. Lithuania is only slighty lighter than northern poland, so is belarus.

If we talk about 100% natural blond hair I'd say the Dutch without a doubt. But its not that noticeable to most of people because they usually only visit Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den haag, cities that have around 50% of foreign-background people (highest in europe) and in fact quite a few indo-dutch mixes are counted as ethnic dutch by the statics, thus the % is probably even lower than 50% for those cities.

Denmark should come pretty close though.

I chose Sweden, probably more because of the stereotype than actual statistics. But when I think of Sweden, I think of tall sexy blue eyed blondes.
There are more stereotypically tall (natural)blondes in The Netherlands and Denmark than there are in Sweden. In fact most swedish women aren't that tall and I saw quite a few dyed blondes when I visited there.
