These are the 5 "countries" that people think in multi-ethnic country where people are. In the video the guy says only 3.
Anyways, these are the countries.
Africa, Whiteland, Pakistan/India, China, and Mexico.
If you look black you're african, if you look white, you're white, if you don't look white your paki, if you look asian your chinese, and if you just look like none of the above you look mexican.

BTW: AT 2:44 compare him to the pakistanis.

Maybe he just lived in Pakistan for whatever reason? Afterall, they state that he is greek.
Man, you're an idiot lol.

He never lived in Pakistan, it is just that he is darker than the average Britisih person, so people think he is a paki.

I have this situation because in America you're are only what's on the census (which means even public officials don't know about more than 5 ethnic groups): white/caucasian, terrorist (includes Jainist Veddoids) or at least necessitates constant terrorist jokes / Jew, Hispanic/Latino or Mexican, pacific islander / asian, and finally blackfrican / carribean. My area was full of Middle-Eastern looking Hispanics but even the 'Hispanics' (none of spoke Spanish, at all) couldn't figure it out and would always be shocked to find out a fellow Mexican looked Neareastern.

Funny video.

In the city that I live some people confuse some Greeks with Iraqis..A lot of Iraqis also like to tell people they're Italian. I've seen some Greeks that were darker than the guy in the video, but I've also seen some Greeks that look like the average white guy in my area..In the city that i live they also call some Latin Americans pakis.

I would have guessed the same.

Piere sounds like a French or maybe Italian surname?

the greek chick was nice. Living in england must be the worst thing ever, and yes I have been there. :puke:

last summer when i had work as horticulturist, there was a german foreman(very kelto/nordic looking) who guess me first as turk, he also said i didnt look like a italian because iam taller(iam 1,83m) as the italian who work with us,one time he was travelling to morocco, and he said, i look like a moroccan, mainly because my dark skin, in the summer season, i get really fast dark under the sun, he also was in corsica(france), and he compare me with corsicans, because they are also dark like me, it was really confusing, i said to him i look like a typical southeastern european, i dont know if he was kidding, but he said i look more like people from india, because iam dark xDhaha but first at all, i never look like a typical moroccan thats ridiculous, most moroccans i´ve seen in my live looks fully saharid or mixed with blacks, and they dont have such european traits like me, but i know there was some fully european looking moroccans, BTW DONT GET ME WRONG, iam not a fucking racist;)
thats me http://s1.zetaboards.com/anthroscape/topic/2424105/1/#new
on anthroforum everbody guess me as fully european"balkanoid, pontid, alpinid, dinarid etc.", on thiazi(patriotic germanic forum with good experts) they all classify me as fully european(taurid/dinarid-cromagnon alpinid), also here everbody guess me as european, on every forum i was, nobody guess or classify me as north african or similar, most of german people(without anthro knowledge) think´s iam a Turk^^
and the moral of the story was, not all, but a handfull of central and north europeans are ignorant!
sorry because my bad english

My dad- who is of Sicilian descent and has a pretty typical southern Italian look- grew up in Southern California in the 1960s. Most of the Anglo whites thought he was Mexican. Sounds like white Brits are just as ignorant.

there is a striking difference between southern euros and nords, thats why people most of the time consider anything below atlantid white some sort of near easterner or asiatic person.

As for me, I've been mistaken for Greek (by Greeks themselves and others), but it's not really a "mistake" to think someone with ancestry from eastern Sicily is Greek.
I've also been guessed as Jewish, Persian or from somewhere in southeastern Europe. The first one makes sense; the second seems a bit random (IIRC a blonde Utah Mormon and a Chinese guy were the ones who thought I was Persian). Third is vague but makes sense (the guesser was from Moldova if I remember correctly).

I've been thought of being Italian, Irish, Cuban or Russian by various people, heh. Most Greeks would be confused for an Italian before the other way around, mainly because there arent that many Greeks here in the USA nor are they a popular ethnic group one has in mind when it comes to 'looks'(outside of the internet). Realistically, Greeks dont have one look to them. Mannerisms are also at play.
