If you practice a lot your coloring skills will gradually get better. Just take a look at other peoples' work and try to mimic their styles until you can develop your own unique style. ^^

They turn out looking much better. ^^

They turn out looking much better. ^^ If you have illustrato take a scan of the image and then use the live trace option to get the lineart. I'll post a tutorial later today to show how to do it

I don't make my lineart digitally, I just ink in my pencil drawings and erase all the lines. I'll try downloading Illustrator for now and try that out until the trial expires, then I'll switch to Inkscape afterwards, I guess.
