lol I would like to have the 280 to install on my desktop but I needed a new card ASAP to replace my other one which had a problem with the on board fan. I didn't want to spend a lot of money at the time but I saw that Frys had a 260 which was on sale which saved me $300 from buying the 280. Perhaps when I build my Nehalem computer I might consider getting the 280 or any newer graphic card that Nvidia might released around or when Nehalem becomes available. |

You think that's a monster, check out this new beast of destruction. *uhuhu* Name: Imperium OS: Vista Premium 64 Bit Case: Xaser VI Power Supply: Corsair 1000 Watts Motherboard: EVGA x58 1366 Intel Motherboard Processor: Intel Core I7 965 (3.2 Ghz) Memory: Corsair 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1333 (PC3 10666) HDD: 2 x 150GB VelociRaptor at RAID 0 | 2 x WD 1000 GB Drives Graphic Card: 2 x Nvidia GTX 285 in SLI mode. CD/DVD: MAIN DVD Multi Recorder 20x LightScribe | Blu Ray/ HD DVD Reader SOUND CARD: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty I just recently sold my other computer (The Eclipse) and use the money to buy the new parts for my new nehalem computer. Basiclly I use this computer for work, photography, gaming, programming and pretty much of well... everything. XD I also modified the case a bit and added a 120mm fan on the side to add additional air flow for the graphic cards. Here's some pics to show what the case looks like. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/Tri-Gon-Jin/comp3-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/Tri-Gon-Jin/comp2-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/Tri-Gon-Jin/comp1-1.jpg Edited by Majeh-Sama, Feb 8 2009, 04:13 AM.

I'm not a fan of flashy cases, but I must admit you did a good job on the added fan. It looks as if it was always there ^^ It looks a bit smaller than 120mm though, or maybe I just suck at evaluating size/perspective lol. |

From the way it's angled in the picture it does look smaller than a 120 mm fan. The case itself is actually huge (Almost two feet tall) if you see it up close. Here's the specs on the case and the type of face I used for the fan. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133052 http://www.crazypc.com/products/CPC8024MR.html Edited by Majeh-Sama, Feb 8 2009, 11:18 PM.
