Other anime disney xd might acquire?

My guess would be the series getting alot of hype on yen press' twitter higurashi when they cry since it involves kids in the 80s figuring out a mystery just like scooby do Spoiler: click to toggle with knives and technically Spoiler: click to toggle no one dies and another series may be galaxy express 999 movies, and hopefully they could show princess mononoke, & possibly claymore another viz title

Absolutely NOT. There's just no good way for them to make it kid friendly without completely ruining it... Any way I'll keep my hopes up that they don't get some of the originally more violent series.. :\|

Anime geared for XD's younger male audience? Hmm. The only title that comes to mind for me that could fit the channel demographic while requiring some edits would be Last Exile. The airplane dog fights and action scenes are more tame than the ninja fights of Naruto. Plus, the two main characters are 15 years old. At the very least, it wouldn't be a complete mince job like Slan's random thoughts of Higurashi and Berserk.

I'm still shocked they put Naruto on it. I guess it really doesn't make any difference for me anyway since I haven't had cable for at least a years and a half. Slan Nov 11 2009, 10:29 PM but the live action stuff is boring I know. Blame it on Cartoon Network losing its edge from earlier in the decade. In those days, anime and other animated shows in its lineup made it quite the worthwhile ride for viewing.
