In the land of Kanto, there are 150 pokemon to discover and befriend. Most trainers want to get along with them, while others have more sinister ideas in mind. Posted Image Pallet Town: Home of Prof.Oak, a well sized town where most trainers of the region go to recive their starters. Prof.Oak has a ranch where he looks after pokemon as well. This is the only twon without a pokemon center. Virdian City: A small sity that is north of Pallet Town. The Gym here is based on Ground and Giovanni is the leader but he is hardly around to accept challengers. Sone think that might be a trap to take the strong pokemon durring the battles. Also a key location is the Viridian Forest that is home to many bug pokemon. Pewter City: A small city that has a Museum and many pewter rock that the city uses and exports. The Gym leader here is Brock and he uses Rock, as anyone would guess. And to get from the city, you go through Mt.Moon which is filled with bats and rock pokemon, but take you to Cerulean City. Cerulean City: A fair sized town that has a bike shop. The gym leader here is Misty who uses water pokemon. This two is very lively and there is a hidden cave a bit northwest of it across a river. Vermillion City: A port town, that is large and has the S.S Anne dock there. The gym leader is Lt.Surge who uses eletric pokemon. There is also lots of construction going on in the city and there is a Pokemon Fan Club too. Take the Rock Tunnel to get to Lavander Town. Lavander Town: A small dreary town with a Pokemon Tower that is a resting place for departed pokemon. Celadon City: A large city with it's main attraction the Shopping Mall. There is also casino (game corner) and the gym leader here is Erika who uses grass pokemon. This place also seems to have a lot of Team Rocket activity. Fuchsia City: A small town that you get to by biking from Celadon City. This city also has a Safari Zone where trainers can go and catch certain types of pokemon that cannot be found anywhere else. There is also a pokemon Zoo and the Rides Ranch. The gym leader is Koga who uses poison and stealthy pokemon. Saffron City: A large city with a railroad that connects Kanto to Jhoto. There is a large office building and two gyms, one is the offical gym run by Sabrina who uses psychic pokemon. The other is a fighting pokemon Dojo. Cinnabar Island: Accessable south of Saffron City. There lives Blaine who is a gym leader using fire pokemon. Also on the small island is a Pokemon Mansion that is haunted by the unknown. Victory Road: Cave you get to from Viridian City thats take you to the Indigio Play=teau. Indigo Plateau: The Pokemon League where the Elite Four and the Champion are. In Kanto there is a group of people known as Team Rocket, they wish to gather all the strongest pokemon and take over the world. Types of characters you can be.... Breeder: Raises a certain type of pokemon. Researcher: Examines pokemon for any cause. Trainer: A normal every day pokemon trainer. Team Rocket Grunt: Works for Team Rocket. Team Rocket Leader: Leads a few Grunts along their mission from Giovanni. Inportant people.... Giovanni: Leader of Team Rocket. Prof.Oak: Famous professor who works in Pallet Town. Nurse Joy: In every Pokemon Center, which is in most cities, she is helpful and sweet. Officer Jenny: Very stric but has a heart of gold, she'll help any trainer in need. Apperance: Posted Image Personality/Bio: She is very spunky and hot headed. Her family breeds fire pokemon from all over the regions. She is from Fuchsia City where her family owns a small ranch. She has two younger brothers named Tibby and Jake. She has decided to travel around Kanto to promote her family's ranch and spread her wings. Gender: Female Age: 22 Type: Team Rocket Leader Pokemon Currently in Poession: Sandslash, Vileplume, Alakazam, Machop, Muk and Ditto. Sexuality: Bi. Posted Image Personality/Bio: She has the apperance of an innocent girl but she lead a section of Team Rocekt in the Kanto Region. She looks up to their Boss and seems to have many personalities. Terri is very clever and uses her charm to get what she wants. She can also go undercover. She is from Jhoto Region and was sought by Giovanni. Name: Rei Mathers Gender: Male Age: 20 Type: Team Rocket Grunt Pokemon Currently in Poession: Raichu, Beedrill, Jolteon, Koffing and Tentacruel. Sexuality: Bi. Apperance: Posted Image Personality/Bio: He works with Terri's team and is a bit sarcastic and sinister. He seems to care very little about people or pokemon. Cold and logical, he works as a grunt simply because he sees no gain in being a leader. He currently works under Terri Ryds. Unlike most other members, he specifically sought out Ryds because of her cunning nature. Masako's last name means "snake," so it's no wonder why all his Pokemon are all serpentine and fast. His personal favorite Pokemon is Dragonaire because she shares his cool calculating nature. |

"Okaaay I'm leaving now!" Sasha called to her folks as she walked out of her small home connected to the ranch and looked around the bustling streers of Fuchsia City. "Alright buddy. Let's go!" She called and threw her pokeball in the air and out came her life long pokemon, Charizard. "We're going back to Pallet to see if we can help recruit people and tell them about our life." She said as she hopped on his back and he took to the blue skies of Kanto. Sasha held on tight as they flew over Route 18 towards their destination. It was a nice breathtaking view of the road and the water, though she preferred to be up high on her fire pokemon's back then biking to Pallet or something. She and her Charizard started their journry from Pallet but then just went back to Fuchsia City instead of challenging the Gyms or the Ellite Four. Sasha had soem regret but she would just focus on helping her family. "I can see Pallet, my you are getting faster and stronger everyday!" She smiled. "More reason to show you offff!" She laughed as her pokemon started to decend towards the small town where it all began. After growing up in such a cold part of Sinnoh, Gabe had to get used to the fair weather. His father told Gabe to go start a life by him self in Pallet and do research on the pokemon's differences. Though Gabe is resistant about his life, he'd rather be a normal kid. He was staying with Professor Oak until recently when his father insisted (along with Prof.Oak) that Gabe get it out and see Kanto. "A-are you sure I'll be fine?" He asked as he nervously handled his pokeball which contained his new Squirtle. "You'll be fine, dear boy!" Prof.Oak laughed and patted his back and started push him out the door. "Trust your pokemon!" He added. Gabe gave a shaky sigh and looked around and started down his hill, he looked at his feet and then up at the sky nervously and saw a giant pokemon comming at him. "Woah!" He cried and bit his lip. "Heeeey!" Sasha gave a call as she landed right in front of the younger boy who looked like he was going to have a seizure. "I didn't mean to scare you, I just wanted to see Prof.Oak." She said and got off of of her Charizard. "Oh...oh he uh..." Gabe stammered as his pokeball slipped from his fumbling hands and rolled all the way down the long hill. "Oh no!" He cried. "Argh, I'll help...!" Sasha said and ran after it. ------ Deep in the Virdian Forest lurked the imfaous Team Rocket and one of their teams was working on a scheme. Terri, the leader of the small four man group, was seated on a rock throne she had made for her self. "So we wait here until weak trainers come along and we snag their pokemon. It's simply...brillant." She said gently. Rei glanced to her and held a bit of a pout, he didn't think there was much to her thinking. He knew she was capable of more, so he wondered why she wasn't going to bigger extreames. Though he kept his mouth shut for the time being. "So Boss, are you sure this is wise...?" Rei couldn't help but hint at his concern. "Yes it is." She hopped off from where she was poioed and looked around, they had made them selves a nice cozy hideout out of rocks and bushes. "For the time being, it isn't wise to do something so drastic." She warned him. He needed to know his place. "Don't worry, I know what I am doing." Morgan sat on a tree stump to flex his feet. He had rode his bike most of the way to Pallet Town, until a flock of Pidgeys scared him and he fell off. The bike was destroyed and he had to walk the rest of the way. His feet ached, but now he could rest. Eevee ran around in the tall grass, enjoying the relatively peaceful day. She would let out particularly happy barks and pounce on small bugs. Morgan smiled. At least someone was enjoying the walk. Suddenly Eevee stopped and stared up the trail, listening to something further ahead. She took a few inquisitive sniffs before bounding off, barking loudly, tail swishing. Morgan leapt up, concerned. "Eevee! Come back!" He chased after her, wading through the tall grass. When he emerged, he found Eevee playfully batting a Poke Ball around with her paws. ------------ Masako sighed and rolled his eyes. "We all know this is small play. If it weren't especially easy on the budget, I'd be walking out of here." He shot a feirce look at Terri. "But it would not be profitable in the long run. How long are we planning on staying here, O Ambitious Leader?" Sarcasm dripped off the sentence and froze like icicles. Masako repspected Terri, but he despised her small-time plans. They weren't good for business. On the bright side, she never did anything to risk any serious loss, so for now, she was an asset. He had a feeling that Rei had his own agenda, however, so to be safe, he placed him as a liability. He made it a personal goal to make sure Rei didn't cause any losses that couldn't quickly be regained. |

Sasha ran all the way down and found with the momentum she couldn't stop and almost tripped over a furry eevee. "Heeey sorry!" She said as she forced her feet to come to an abrupt stop and she toppled to the grass with an pleasant sound. Sasha growled and looked around, that was her pokemon to save! "What's the big idea here?!" She yelled and looked up while rubbing her head to see a black haired boy about her age. "Keep your pokemon under control!" She huffed and got to her feet, makign sure she wasn't too scratched up. She picked up the kid's pokeball and looked around and then up at the large hill. The kid dressed for winter came hobbling down. "Oh gosh I'm so sorry about that miss...." "Miss?! I am not a-just call me Sasha Rides, of the Rides Ranch of Fuchsia City." She smiled. "That's a long title." Gabe muttered. "Who are you?" Sasha asked, hand on her hips while her Charizard was now floating by her, protectivly. "And you." She added, looking to who appeared to be the eevee's trainer. "I am...I am Gabe Roseil and I am from the Sinnoh Region but I am here doing research for my father, he is a professor just like professor Oak." Gaba babbled. "I see....I see." She nodded to him, having heard enough as she looked to the glasses boy, waiting. ------ The leader was just trying to start out small and then work their way up. There was nothing wrong with that. And it wouldn't draw so much attention to their group. "Untill something comes our way that is worthwhile." She said, that was obvious. "Like what?" Rei asked her hotly though there were rumors that she didn't take insoborination very well. "Look, we can trap some trainers here and take what we want." She told Rei and walked around, her hands clasped behind her back. "I know it's not much but it'll make Giovanni happy that we're not as useless as Jessie and those guys." She said. Morgan blinked a few times in blank shock at the Charizard in front of him before starting. Eevee walked closely over to the giant fire Pokemon, and sniffed at his foot. "I'm sorry. My name is Morgan Pell. I run a laboratory in Saffron City, devoted to Normal-Type Pokemon. I'm out doing field research for my study." He hunkered down a bit before he pulled out a notepad from his backpack. "I'm trying to find out how Normal-Types communicate with other types." He looked up at Sasha. "You dont mind do you?" Then he smiled at the winter boy. "You can let your Pokemon out if you wish. The more types, the better." ------------- "And what would you consider worthwhile?" Masako shot back quietly. "A couple of weak trainers is hardly impressive to Giovanni." Masako knew how Giovanni worked, grunts would always be grunts. "We should at least move into a city and set up an operation there. We may be relatively new, but all of us know our capabilities. We should work together and roll in the cash." |

"O-oh...I only have my Squirtle...I just got him." Gabe said to the steudious boy as got his pokeball back and pressed the button to enlarge it and he then threw it at the grass. "Go, Squirtle." He said and in a white flash, the turtle pokemon appeared. "It's cute and all but I prefer my fire types, that's what my family riases, you know?" Sasha smirked and patted her Charizard's back proudly as he raised his head and blew out a light fire for display. "Yep, that's my boy!" "Wow..." Gabe said, playing with his furry jacket and his own starter pokemon hid behind his leg. "By the way kid, you should take care of your pokemon better...you're lucky he didn't attack you for what you did." Sasha said, she of course wasn't going to show Morgan her pokemon so suddenly. "I know...." He muttered shamefully. ------ "I know that." She snapped and breathed in deeply. "But some trainers here won't be weak...if we snag pokemon we might be able to pull a ransom or cell them or even exchange them in the underground market for other pokemon." Terri told them. "Don't think so simple-mindedly." Rei leaned against a tree and folded his arms, he could hear birds flying above them. "I saw we can use our our pokemon to gas this place with toxins and then set it on fire." He said. "Pleanty of pokemon would be at our disposel then." "Uhm that would be too big of an event, reporters would come flocking to us!" Terria flapped her arms. Seesh. |

Name: Tomas Palm Gender: Male Age: 15 Type: Trainer Pokemon Currently in Posession: Eevee(not in Pokeball, carried on Shoulder), Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Vulpix, Dragonair Sexuality: Bi Apperance: Posted Image Personality/Bio: Raised on Cinnibar island Tomas set out on his quest to become a Pokemon master. After receiving his blessing from his cousin Blaine, he set out with the one Pokemon he had, an abandoned Eevee he found in his mother's garden as a child. upon travelling for some time, he came upon a river where he caught Dragoon[now Dragonair] and gained a second fighting pokemon. Eevee swiftly became his strongest Pokemon, with it's quick feet, quick attacks, and mysterious hidden powers. Upon reaching the Kanto mainland, he sought out and caught three more Eevee's levelling them up and buying a Thunder stone, Water stone, and Fire stone, evolving each into Eevee's evolutions. She has no problem doing anything to get what she wants; hurting people is second nature for her. Her one weakness though is Jamie. Marla also comes from Celadon and has known him most of her life. Ever since he joined Team Rocket, Marla battled and battled until she got accepted as well. Now they work together and she tries her hardest to get him to return her feelings while still trying to be tough. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Makayla had decided a week ago she was going to leave Lavender town once again to explore the Kanto region and observe how much it had changed from 3 years ago when she first set out on her pokemon adventure. She was walking along route 1 now, having simply cut around the outskirts of the Viridian forest and rested in Vermillion. Up ahead by the Prof. Oak's lab, she saw a girl and 2 boys standing around with their pokemon. She wanted to go see Prof. Oak but as she neared the group her pace became slower; she didn't really want to deal with new people right now. Luke had been waiting at Prof. Oak's lab for an hour now while a boy dressed in winter gear had gotten his pokemon. Luke was quite furious that he'd had to wait so long for such an insolent boy, but was quite pleased when he recieved his Charmander. "Thank you Professor. I'll be going now" he said and walked out the door. Much to his dismay, the boy, along with a couple other people now, were outside the lab in a group. He scanned them and knew that the three he didn't know weren't beginners. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jamie and Marla had left Celadon and were going to the Viridian forest to do some catching up on their pokemon. "Come on, Marla, hurry the hell up. We need to try to get some pokemon for the boss. He's furious that we've been slacking." "Oh shut up Jamie! You're supposed to be the Team Rocket genius yet you're still only a grunt! I don't even wanna hear it from you" Marla said, catching up to Jamie as they walked through the Viridian Forest. Suddenly she heard whispers coming from some bushes. "Jamie" she whispered, "Do you hear that?" "Yeah" he whispered back. As they crept closer, they could distinguish the voices of other Team Rocket members hiding out in the bush. "What the hell are you guys doing?" Jamie said loudly so they would hear him. [I'm just teasing Genkai_Chan at the moment, and this internet connection is way to slow for me to do anything decent, so I'll post later] Tomas grew tired of sitting around, so he instead sauntered into the nearby town, who would have thunk it would be Pallet town, home of both Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum, the now famous pokemon trainers from this area. He made his way into the town, hoping to see the sites, when a large shadow appeared overhead. It was a Dragonite carrying a messenger bag. The large pokemon swooped down and handed him an envelope before it erupted into the sky again. "To all Pokemon trainers currently in Pallet!" the tagline read. "I am hosting a dinner and festival tonight to gather together Pokemon trainers from the area in a fun, non-battle setting. If you would like to come, just be at my lab at 5 PM on April 10th. Tomas walked up the path to Professor Oak's laboratory, there he saw a few trainers standing on the path ahead. He saw a Charizard trainer, a newbie with a Squirtle, and... "Look Eevee," he said to the Pokemon on his shoulder, it was another of his own kind. "Hello Pokemon trainers!" He said and waved them down. He walked into the range of the other three. Turning to the Eevee trainer[foxboy] he asked. "You don't mind if Eevee gets a chance to stretch his legs with one of his own kind do you? He hasn't seen another Eevee since I evolved his brother and sisters." He looked at all three of the trainers in front of him. "I'm Tomas, the Eevee trainer!" As the introduction commenced, three Pokeballs at his waist opened and Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon were suddenly beside him... He blushed... "Aww shucks guys, do you always have to do this? It's embarassing..." The three pokemon laughed and went back into their pokeballs. "So anyway, it's always nice to see new faces..." |

"Charizard too many tiny critters are here." She said as she held up his pokeball and he returned inside and she tried not to scowl too much and show how annoyed it was that she was being pulling into something. But she had to see it as advertising for her family. "Hello all." Sasha smiled a bit brightly. "I am Sasha Rides, our family raises fire pokemon from all over the regions of the world! We're located in the Rides Ranch of Fuchsia City no doubt." She added after a moment. Gabe looked around as well, seeing two new boys and girl linger around them. One was from the lab, he too was starting out but he didn't seem as nervous as Gabe felt. He then figured he had to introduce him self, but he knew the only thing impressive about him was his father. "I'm Gabe Roseil. My father is a research professor in Sinnoh." "My, your Eevee is quite a bit stronger than mine." He reached over and scratched Eevee's ears. "Of course, she's just a companion, compared to my others, especially Persian." He nudged Eevee to play with the newcomer, before putting away his notebook. "My name is Morgan Pell. I'm a researcher of Normal-Type Pokemon, from Saffron City." He held out his hand to Tomas and smiled at Gabe. ------------------------------------- Masako's hand flew straight for Dragonaire's Poke Ball at the surprise, but he stop himself from opening it. He growled and smoothed his hair back. "Dammit. Sneaking up on people is a real quick way to hurt." He shot a glance at Terri. "You're the leader here. Put 'em to 'work.'" |

He turned to Sasha. "It's nice to meet a fire trainer not localized around the Cinnibar area, you'll have a hard time against my cousin without any water Pokemon, if you haven't beaten him yet." He told her. He turned to Gabe and put his hand on his head. "You will turn out to be a great trainer someday, don't give up on yourself, and fight hard, and one day you can be as great as anyone here, maybe even better." He picked his Eevee back up and placed him on his shouler. And stood off to the side. |

Gabe had a snappy comment to tell her but held his tongue it wouldn't be nice to start making witty banter, it might make him look foolish and petty. "Th...thank you." Gabe said and looked down at his new pokemon as it nodded and gave a cry. His smile eased a bit as Sasgha gave a nod of approval too. |

Tomas smiled down at Gabe's flush of confidence... "I'll let you in on a secret...there is only 1 Gym leader that is balanced in his Pokemon, and that is Giovanni, my suggestion would be for you to go to the other leaders first, not only will you learn alot from them, but you will be able to see all types of Pokemon in action. It is a learning experience for new trainers. I've battled all the leaders myself but Sabrina, Koga and Giovanni, but decided to stop here for awhile. I'm looking for companions actually to come with me to Mt. Moon. I want to collect a Moon Stone for research later." He turned to Morgan. "Actually, that would be right up your alley. I've been there three times and twice have encountered Clefairy, once Clefable, but can't bring myself to catch one. It would be a good environment for your research." He turned to Sasha. "I'm not sure about you, it'd be nice to have Gabe along because we can follow the paths and help him build up his badge collection. I have to go back to Fuchsia and Saffron city anyway to collect two of my remaining badges. And it would be nice to have a fire trainer along. For aesthetic reasons more than anything." [OOC: I would love to have us be travel companions! It would be cool to build relationships, have playful battles to train each other up and we wouldn't have to focus so much on seperate storylines, other than the Rockets...] |

Makayla had stayed a few feet back from the others, not really sure if she should join the conversation or not. She'd forgotten all about going to see Prof Oak and was more interested in watching these trainers. They were very interesting and she had heard them talking about going to Mt Moon. Makayla took a few steps towards the group and looked around uneasily. Usually she wasn't so shy but for some reason she seemed a little intimidated by so many people. Luke stepped forward and looked at the trainer who had mentioned going to Mt Moon. "I'll go to Mt Moon with you! I'm going to be a great trainer someday and I want to catch as many fire pokemon as I can along the way!" he said, looking around at everyone. He looked to the girl who had had the Charizard and smiled at her. "I want my Charmander to be as big and strong as your Charizard one day." -------------------- Jamie stepped forward and looked at the other Team Rocket members. "Come on why don't you guys relax? Jesus, you'd think you guys were mob bosses or something. We were just planning to pass through, but I suppose that'd be too much of a hassle now" he said and put his hands in his pockets, looking at the others with a friendly smile. Marla nervously stepped toward Jamie and held loosely onto one of his arms. "What makes you guys act so mean, anyway? What's wrong with a coupla us grunts just walking around by ourselves? We pretty much stay out of your way" she huffed and looked up at Jamie, who was completely relaxed. |

"Well fire pokemon are the best of the best, and I know if you raise your charmander with love and displine, then he will be very strong and loyal." She nodded. "And you'll need to know how to treat it with food and all that, our family helps many new trainers like you. "I'm Sasha Rides of the Rides Ranch in Fuchsia City." She grinned proudly. "Perhaps you've heard of me." She said and put her hands on her hips. Gabe looked around some more and saw a girl looking at them a bit curious, so he krept over to her. "H-hi...." He introduced him self softly and wondered if there was something on her mind. --- Terri was sure these guys were bi polar or something. "I don't think we really need them Boss..." Rei said to her. "I mean they aren't as loyal to Giovanni if they're just wandering around doing nothing...I'm surprised kids like them are still on the Team." He smirked as he stepped to the pair. "Stop it, they're not worth it." Terri said softly. "If you're just going to pass through then think before you yell at people who are in hiding." She added. |

Is this a private discussion?" she asked him. Luke grinned up at the girl. "Yes I've heard of that ranch. You guys own one of the best ranches in the entire region" he said matter-of-factly. "Maybe when I'm a famous Pokemon trainer I'll come by your ranch and let my Pokemon run around with yours." He reached for his pokeball and summoned his new Charmander. "One day my Charmander will be as big and strong as yours." -------------- "Now now no need to get into a huff over just lil ol' us. We were only passing through. And as for not being loyal to Giovanni, you're sadly mistaken. I've been with him probably longer than any of you. But enough about us, if you'd like to take us under your wing, that's fine. No harm in having more members. The more the merrier" Jamie grinned. He couldn't help himself when it came to teasing the other members. The only reason he was still a grunt was because there was no way he could deal with ordering other people around and taking responsibility. It was hard enough looking after Marla. Marla looked at Jamie like he was crazy. What was he doing? She always trusted in Jamie, but sometimes he was just plain outrageous. But maybe working with the other Team Rocket members would be a good thing. "Yeah, what Jamie said. Maybe we could be a help to you guys." Maybe they could get something out of this as well. |

He snapped his fingers to call Eevee to his side before placing his hands on his hips and smiling. "Well now. We've got badges to be won, research to be collected, fame to spread, and Pokemon to exercise." He smiled and pushed his glasses further up on his nose. "We should get moving." ---------- Masako's teeth began to grind as his patience ran thin. "First, we stay put in this blasted forest, with petty goals in mind. Now we have newcomers to deal with?" He stood up quickly, and shoved past everyone else and walked further down the path, forming numbers in his head. There had to be another way to raise funds and steal Pokemon faster. Simply sitting in wait wouldn't---- The idea clicked in his head, and he almost fell over as he spun on his heel. The evil grin on his face would make even Giovanni look three times as scary. He stared at his 'fearless leader.' "I believe I have a scheme that will make all of us happy." |
