Cannon...like the one from the anime...kurama, genkai, kuwabara, hiei, yusuke...I'm sure that if you just used a cannon name, no pic, and just had your own backstory it would be okay. Because for this we sort of know the appearances already. |

lol I do prefer the old stuff yeah. Mostly cause I am one guy that love battles and sword battles are more personal and epic. Besides, I suck at writing down a battle between two people using ranged weapons lol. |

I am no violent person in real life, I am honestly very harmonic (That can be hard to belive XD). Though I prefer to mix romance, fighting, love, passion etc into one thing. The theme being Medival makes it more poetic and romantic from my point of view. AS I said before, the battles are also more fun. All in all, the magical atmopshere of a medival era is what I prefer |

I see. Well we still have Pikaman's, the Bitterfly Children, and not sure what else. I wish FB would remember his other RP's he is in. And I wish other people would be more active. *le whine* Oh well...to each their own. I much prefer romance and drama, but nothing too childish and watered down. I also like a bit of fantasy but not too much...which is weird because BC has a bit of fantasy to me. |

Well, if I would make a medival RP I dun think enough people would join. Remember Dark Hours? Sure it was a very gothic themed fantasy RP with ti revolving around medival vampires. Though it was a very simpel build. I jsut took the basic elements of dungeons and dragons and made it revovle around a darker story. How many joined? Shinny, none other. I loved rping with ehr of course but we both got rather tired, there was no one else there with us. We had been rping in Dakr hours since the original AC, through baby human then here. I amde about 6 dark hours and each and every one of them consisted of only me and shinobi. Point being, no one joins medival rps, everyone seems to prefer japanese school rps |

I know...Yasha is busy Shishi is busy...they need their space. I always think offline is more important then online. I mean, I personally like modern things, or at least things from the last two centuries and up. We have waaay too many school RP's with nonesense...it's really just...It's not what I feel to be a good idea for RP's which is why I encourage people to think of new things...though it's hard. |

I don't see too much desire from a school rp...I mean most people don't make it realistic with a school and such...and most people ignore the classes anyway. I guess I'm just sick of school rp's...I mean I see so many other things on other forums...the old AC never had this kind of a rut did it? |

haha you're right. I never thought of it XD. No one actully goes to class in these school rps XD lol. Honestly, by the time I even noticed there was an RP section it was during ACs collapse. I had been a member there for about a year before that, I just wasn't into RPing through forums during that time. When I actully got into it, AC collapsed |

Kay I got the idea of a Medival RP that no one will join. It is roughly based on the game "Oblivion". Since not everyone has played the game I am just gonna snatch the story and make it an original so that everyone knows what's going on. I dun wanna change the name of each and every city in the game so I'll just leave them as they are, here is a map. http://media.photobucket.com/image/map%20oblivion/dev_akm/oblivion/OOO/OOOSpoilersMap.jpg Ignore all the small orbs with symbols on them. They just represent dungeons and so on STORY After the dark orginazation of the Mythic dawn assassinated the Emperor, took his magical amulet and attempted to summon a dark prince of the underworld to the lands man, using the amulet, a hero approached and found the last remaing heir to the throne, thus only one of the royal emperor blood can use the amulet to seal the gates between the underworld, that being oblivion, and the lands of the mortals. After overcoming countless dangerous quests in order to reclaim the amulet, the hero finally got a hold of it after killing the master of the Mythic dawn, though it was too late. The demon prince had alredy been summoned and after giving the amulet to the heir, seailing the gates was no longer of any help. The last remaing heir unleashed the power of the amulet and sacrefised himself in order to execute a final, desperate attempt to bring down the prince of darkness. The hero saw when the heir destroyed the dark prince and then as he vanished...The hero was then proclaimed "The champion of Cyrodiil", Cyrodiil being the lands of man. After accepting the new title the hero left the lands and never returned. No one knows where this person had gone, though the job was done and the hero was no longer needed. The story picks up here. The dark forces of oblivion are yet again trying to open their demonic gates to conquer Cyrodiil and it is time for new heroes to arise and fight this threat and once again, once and for all, restore peace and balance to Cyrodiil and to forever seal the gates of Oblivon...or perhaps help open them...? *************************************************************************************** So there you have it. That is basicly the entire story of the game, though the short version. Making it "orginal" is rather unnessesary if everyone understood what is written above. So anyone in? Academy Tourney RP: Also, the first paragraph you write will be having a class within your schools, in an exclusive lesson with your principles. Who will win the Tournament is yet unknown. Good luck. Welcome to the Academy of Dark, an Academy purely built to train evil creatures/humanoids of the dark how to fight and use magic to an amazing extent. Welcome to the Academy of Light, an Academy purely built to train creatures/humanoids of the light how to fight and use good magic to an amazing extent. Every seven years the students of these academy's meet up in a gigantic tournament, the students of AOD/AOL go to these school purely for this tournament, and with it only two weeks away, the students are restless. The tournament is held in the Realm of the Elders where the most important magical rulers from all around the world come and watch. With a single areana, and two people from different acadamys left to battle it out, it will only come to one man/woman. Which school will win this year? This RP will start with you all on the way to the Realm of the Elders to practise until the tournament actually starts. The Realm of the Elders is an extremely beautiful, anchient realm. These people are able to manifest their Psyche into a Guardian that mirrors their personality. The Guardian obeys your every will and its strength and ability make you stronger! Would you utilize this being of the mind for good or for evil? There are four major cities: Aeon, Darkvale, Monroe, and Shadow Pine. Within each city is one school, an Academy of sorts for those who are gifted, with this ability to manifest their psyche into a guardian. Some people have a psyche that makes their Guardians appearance far different, often leaving them cast out from supposedly civil societies. Others, however, are fortunate enough to hide themselves and their Guardian from judgment. Every ten years, the Finals are held for those willing to try. The Finals are a series of tests that determine one’s ability to communicate with teammates and their Guardians, overcome obstacles, and deal with situations that could very well end their lives. Students come from every Academy to Aeon where they are individually tested and then formed into a team as small as three or as large as over a dozen. This team becomes The Wielder of the Guardians, swearing on their lives to defend Aeon and the surrounding cities from evil and all it brings from the shadows. It is now the tenth year, time for the new team to be formed. The number of applicants is larger than ever, but is the talent dim? Patience, it seems, is now a virtue that must be held. The Cities Aeon: The largest city of them all, Aeon has the most diverse group of people. Having both a concrete jungle and quiet residential areas, there seems to be a niche for everyone’s tastes. The Academy is located towards the outskirts of town. Being a large city, it certainly has it’s share of crime. Darkvale: A very quiet town during the day, but a bright and shining city at night, Darkvale is a popular location for people getting away for the weekend or looking for a wild night. This has caused significant problems as thieves prey on the out of towners. Monroe: Boasting on being the wealthiest of the four cities, Monroe prides itself on having “Elite heroes”. Rumors have it that these heroes are actually wealthy people who have paid to be genetically enhanced. Monroe has a very low physical crime rate, but white collar crimes are quite high. Shadow Pine: A rural town far away from the others, Shadow Pine is often the hideout for escaped convicts and the place where many go to bury a body. However, they are desperately working to control the crime rate and it seems to be paying off, although at a slow rate. Extra Note All Academy "students" must sign a piece of paper stating that they will not reveal anyone's identity. Some people choose to not hide themselves, while others wear masks. It is up to them. 1. No god-modding I would hope that this is a universal rule and goes without saying, but I always like to just make sure it’s out there. Please do not control someone else’s character without their permission. Do not kill or inflict heavy damage upon them without their agreement and say so. If any god-modding is to be done, it will be minimal and it will be performed by me, only for reasons of story progression. Please tell us if someone has given you the permission to control their character for a certain amount of time. 2. No all powerful characters This is a very simple rule, though in a modern fantasy setting, can be so tempting to break. This is an Advanced leveled role-play, therefore I expect you all to have a degree of knowledge on how to control your character and their dynamics. To keep all powerful characters and tendencies to a minimum, I have created this next rule. 3. A character sheet must be made for each individual character and approved by me This is to help with consistencies in the story and to keep people from making bizarre and far fetched characters. Make a commitment If you’re joining this thread, please make sure your schedule allows you to post at least once or twice a week. It's not something I can really do, joining Kiara's was a strech for me. @PM: I like either of my ideas...I hate all the school rp's but decided that so many like them we should at least put decent plots into them. I don't know which to pick, I can post both up. |

I ment the tornament one because I didn't see the other one. >< Well, the tornament idea sounds like a saga or arc of an anime... If you can make the rp feel more than just a part of the entire story. I mean, I would welcome the romance stuff and drama but idk how to fit it all in well... Idk if you know what I mean, but it would be nice to have something a little more to it... Either way I would probably join that one. |

Attention everyone who uses this or is reading this.... A new subforum has been made. If you have an Idea, post it but make sure you follow the rules set. In the idea thread people will post the character they want to be too. Plots and such will stay in the subforum whereas any new RPG must start off with the creator making the first post so we don't have so much debris of character sheets and OCC's. Any questions, PM me.
