In this Realm, six Gods of Power reign over the people, in turn ruled by a supreme being, Gothrielle(Divinity) personified. It is currently the Cycle of Eflam, where Eflam, God of Fire rules supreme of the council between his brothers and sisters. But, after being mortally killed in an incident during his sister Atrianna(Goddess of Will)'s Reign, It is up to a mortal to decide. This mortal is the Chosen One, a being endowed with special powers that will lead him to the path of the next reigning God. This cycle, it is a young man named Killigar McAnthis, an orphaned elf raised among men in the kingdom of Cyrannus, in the village of Broll. Near the Mountain of Eflam. His quest begins soon... In Monotnia, there are several races and religions that each follow. Members will have to choose a member of that race and understand that they follow that religion (i.e. powers reflect that God) Humans, ruled by Atrianna, Goddess of Will, No magic powers... Elves, Ruled by Cerana, Goddess of Courage, Clerics possess basic magic skills. Dragons, Ruled by Eflam, God of Fire, Pick Element, also state class...Dragon, Guardragon (Dragons are normal, Guardragons are high powered dragons able to transform from Human to Dragon form at will, skilled in Magic of their element.) Merpeople, Ruled By Meryll, God of Water (Only Clerics can landwalk, healers, limited attacking capability) Dryad, Ruled by Telamar, God of Earth. (Able to cast earth magic, manipulate plants, including weapons. Ravani, Ruled by Zabera, Goddess of Wind (Bird people, can fly, and clerics can manipulate wind magic) Nocturn, Unknown god, (Vampires, reside in night only) Lycan, Unknown god (Werewolves, reside only under the light of the full moon, human the rest of the time.) The Ravani, Nocturn and Lycan reside in lands beyond the Great Mountain Highway, so characters will be travellers... Sorcerers, Ruled by Gothrielle (Skilled in ALL magic, powerful, rules the lands from their capital of Malactis. If you choose to be an enemy to Killigar and his companions, you serve Darius, servant to the Weeping Demon, Kat'roc. My characters: Name: Xanthos of Mala Race: Sorcerer Companion or Enemy: Companion Background: After 20 years of hiding in a hole near the caverns of Mala, Xanthos, the most powerful sorcerer to walk Monotnia is told in a dream by Atrianna to seek out the Chosen One. He packs up his belongings and sets out. Appearance: Ancient, his sinewy strength hides the true power within, strong in teh 5 elements as well as the Divine Power, he is a force to be reckoned with. His eyes are a piercing white blue. He is tall for a human, at 7'1" and wears rust red clothes. Name: Ivia Cederia Rosenroad Race: Dryad Companion or Enemy: Companion Background: Princess of the Dark Forest, Ivia has always had issues with the authority of her Mother, Cederia Rosenroad. When Xanthos wanders into the forest she is swept away on the adventure she has always wanted. Appearance: She wears form fitting clothes out of living vines, she carries a whip made out of rose vines, her eyes are the color of ivy, green streaked with red flares. She has healthy bronze skin. Name: Killigar McAnthis Race: Elf, raised by humans Companion or Enemy: Chosen One, cause of companionship Background: Killigar is unknowingly the Chosen One, his mother was travelling through Broll village when she died in childbirth. The woman that delivered him took him home and he began his meager existence as a farm workers' son. Dealing with an abusive father and alcoholic mother, Killigar needs something to spirit him away... Appearance: Light Brown Curly hair, pale skin, and amber eyes, tall, slim and slender. OOC: I'll join^^ Name: Elessar Race: Sorcerer Companion or Enemy: Enemy Background: Once a respected and high ranked member of the Mage Council. Elessar was a very powerfull Sorcerer, but he was unsatesfied with his powers. He wanted more. One day during a meeting the council got attacked by the dark forces. His brothers and sisters used their fierce magic to fight back but in the end, each and every one of them got slaughtered one after the other. Elessar on the other hand never even raised a finger to defend the council. The remaing demons looked at him. He was calm, dark and myserious. It could be seen in his eyes that he couldn't care less if so the entire city fell. As one of the demons ran towards him, he rose his hand and froze it to the ground then snapped his fingers. The iced legs of the demon shattered and as it fell to the ground, screaming in pain the general approached Elessar "You hunger for power Sorcerer. I can see it in you. You couldn't care less if the world fell into darkness as long as your own slefish needs would be fulfilled, no? Perfect. We can grant you all the power and riches you want, if you join us that is." Elessar looked at the demon and laughed slightly "Only if you vow to bow before me, demon. Your lord might be able to best me, but I refuse to serve under a dog like you. Now then, I shall serve under your lord, you shall serve under me" It was decided. From that day on, Elessar has been known as the Betrayer or The Dark Sorcerer among other names. For from that day on, he served darkness. Being the general of the Dark Knights he live up to his well respected name. At the age of 16 he accepted the gift of the undead. The vampire blessing. This removed his mortality, the chill touch of age no longer embraced him. He looks but 16 but he has lived for 60 years. Leonuss is a very dark and quiet type. He speaks only when needed and his voice is cold. He serves under Darius becasue he was borned in his servitude. With his blade in hand, he cuts down anyone Darius wants dead. ((I'll add on an evil character later)) Name: Kogane Aijou Race: Guardragon (Wind) Companion or Enemy: Companion if that's a hero...(they are...YF) Background: Kogane lived with other dragons for awhile. His father died in one of the few wars his kind had, and he lived with his mother since he was ten. When Kogane was fifteen his mother died after being attacked by humans and other like beings who hunted dragons for sport. Kogane left his home and went out to find a place for him to fit in and live peacefully. Appearance: In Human form Kogane is a hansome seventeen year old boy with dark brown hair and golden eyes. He has white skin that is slightly tanned, and wears simple shirts and pants. In Dragon form Kogane is a gold dragon with brown wood like horns and an extremely long tail. Name: Kit Race: Human Companion or Enemy: Companion Background: Kit was an orphan child for many years, wandering the wilderness far into her teenage years, until she met Ferrothrax, the dragon. Ferrothrax promptly "adopted" her and the two have become inseperable. When she heard of the story of Killigar, she convinced Thrax to help Killigar in his quest. She has a very strange reaction with magic... However, he has not spent that time honing his magic. He mostly spent that time sleeping. However, he was finally awoken by a small orphan girl trying to steal from his food reserves. Being cranky, he simply cast a thunder spell to blast her away. The girl's reaction to the spell promptly caused Thrax to adopt the girl and he's kept her close by at all times. Thrax let himself be convinced to join Killigar by Kit's pleading. Appearance: Human Appearance Dragon Form |

Hey, thanx for joining...I'll wait for Genkai_Chan to finish her characters and get confirmation from Danny that he's still going to be in this one before we start...if you know anyone else that wants to play, let them know, people can join even after we've started... A few things you should know about this RP.... It is Old AC style, I'm not as big on rules as Genkai_Chan, and I encourage a free posting order, i.e. as long as you're not double posting, you are free to post at anytime, assuming everyone remains active, no one should get lost. We'll start in respective places... Also, once I get access to a scanner, I'll add a Map so that characters can refer to it and not get lost... @Pikaman, I've edited your Character, Air is the element, however the power itself is Wind, and that's the terminology I prefer, sorry I wasn't explicit with Foxboy about it XD...also, since you said you are adding an evil character as well, I'll need to see you in the OOC thread to discuss what you'll be doing. |

@Danny, sorry I don't seem to be on too often, I do make a point to come on each day and update RPG's now...we are starting this tomorrow, since everyone has a character now...it's a shame, I really wanted a Mer...I'll send a PM out to everyone to be looking for the first post of the RP sometime tomorrow, after that, everyone is free to post... I look forward to RPing with all of you... ~EDIT~ DNM, is currently on hold barring issues with one RPer, Danny and Pikaman, if you guys are still interested, please PM someone to come in and fill in for Genkai_Chan's absence...I promise you guys that I'm active enough to at least RP, you guys know I'm just pretty busy during the day.
