'Lets see, what to do, what to do'

Olymp was walking aimlessly around the Agora, past people displaying their wares on wooden stands and pieces of cloth. The smell of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, meat was overwhelming. Not to mention the pretty colours of everything. Olymp was shooed away from a few stands already, and thus decided to stay away from 'those' stands at least. 'Stupid people,' he muttered to himself under his breath, 'shooing away Olymp, stupid, stupid, stupid.'

His tummy growled, and the lanky man eyed another stand, and decided to sit down against a pilar directly across the stand. Olymp didn't have money, and if he had some, he either lost it or bought things in a spur of the moment, and didn't even remember a few days later that he had any money at all.

Pulling onto his hood to position it right again he held his head down, viewing the bricks that lay on the ground. With a finger he pushed the dusty ground around, and made a little pile. It was hot, but lucky he was sitting in the shade of the pilar. Maybe he could go to one of the public wells and go drink some water. Yes that he would do. Olymp scrambled back onto his feet, and with some cracking joints he stood up. Still keeping his head down to follow the lines of the bricks and he scurried on towards a well he knew was on the other side of the Agora.

'Ouch, watch out whe'ye going you...' Olymp trailed off when seeing the person he bumped into. 'Stupid, stupid.' he muttered under his breath.

A small figure pushed past various people who were standing around the Agora, mind set on her destination. Those who knew her or her father shook their heads and rolled their eyes while letting out irritated, yet resigned, sighs, realizing that nothing short of a hurricane could stop the small woman when she was determined. Those who didn't know her sent disapproving glares in her direction.

Not that any of this mattered to Isaura; she had money to deliver to another trader from her father. Urgent business that could definitely not wait. Not if they wanted to continue trading with the other merchant. A noticeably well off one, at that. Her father had made it obvious how important the money they could earn from the man she was heading to meet now was.

Her thoughts on money, a smirk crept it's way onto her face, and her wide eyes became slightly glazed as she thought of gold and silver and other shiny expensive things. Not a good idea; she stopped paying attention to where she was going completely, and payed for it, as she ran headfirst into someone.

She stumbled, and the bag of money in her hands slipped from her grasp, although the string stayed tightly wrapped around the top, to her relief. She took a glance at the odd man in front of her, assuming he was the one she ran into, before swiftly reaching down to grab the bag. On her way back to standing straight, she caught another glance at the man, who seemed to be muttering to himself.

She frowned slightly, pausing, setting her dull stare on him. Usually she would have thrown a quick apology his way and continued on, but a flash of recognition flew threw her mind. She had seen this man before, but he definitely was not one of her father's customers.

Her memories supplied the answer for her. Of course; she had heard of strange people who hung around and been shooed away from various places in the Agora. This must be one of those people. At least, looking at his strange appearance, that seemed to be the most logical conclusion to her.

"What are'ye staring at?" He said dully, throwing the same dull stare back to the woman standing in front of Olymp. Due to the stare his eyes seemed to pop out even more, giving him a crazed look.

The woman wasn't particularly pretty or anything. Just plain, not pretty. No not at all. For some reason he just kept standing there. And Olymp forgot all about his mission to find the well at the other side of the agora. He raised his heavy eyebrows in an attempt to get an anwser from the woman, . He didn't like it when women stared at him, even if it were ugly women. No no, no staring. Staring was bad, it was evil. He was a man, women shouldn't stare at him.

But what had Olymp to tell about women? Nothing really. He didn't own one, nor ever found an interest in them.

Then Olymp started to dance around the woman. 'What'cha got there, what'cha got there?' It was like a child who danced around his mother because the mother held a treat in her hands. Although Olymp was only curious what was in the bag. He wasn't someone who would steal money, and he wouldn't steal from merchants at all. Which he figured the woman was, because she didn't look like someones wife who was shopping for the household. Some merchants seemed to be kind to Olymp once in a while. They sometimes gave him a piece of fruit or vegetable, so he could eat it. Olymp knew not to come back there everyday. Otherwise they would become bored and annoyed by him. Owh no, he wasn't like a stray dog, who would come back everyday after the dog got some food once at a stand. He was much smarter then a dog.

'So?' And from one moment onto the other, he stood still again, in front of the woman. Staring at her again.

Used to people looking away when she gave them her stare, Isaura was somewhat surprised when the odd man in front of her simply stared back. If possible, her eyes widened even more and she glanced away for a moment- a first.

"What are'ye staring at?"

His question was enough to throw her off completely. She blinked twice in quick succession, and unsure how to answer without sounding rude (He was a potential customer, after all... 'Well, maybe', she thought to herself after taking in his crazed appearance) she simply emitted a small hum in response.

His sudden movement startled the young woman enough that she almost dropped the bag of money, before she clutched it tighter to her chest. She could tell one thing; this man was... very unpredictable. In her mind, that automatically registered as 'threat to her money'.

She watched him move round her, and also noticed that he was attracting attention from random passers by. She let out a small sigh of relief when he stopped and stood still.

"So?"

Isaura blinked, trying to recall what the question he'd been asking while she had been preoccupied with how other people were looking at him. Oh, right, of course; what she was holding.

A small voice in her mind told her she should probably take this opportunity to run away. As fast as her skinny legs would carry her. Unfortunately, another voice, her curious side, seemed to block it out, and she forgot that she was supposed to be delivering the bag before it got too late, not answering questions about it.

Unable to meet his bright blue eyes (she was usually the one who no-one would meet the eyes of, not the other way round!) she gazed at an unidentifiable spot above his head while she replied; although she asked her own question rather than answering his, stumbling over the first word due to a slight bit of nervousness.

"W-who are you?"

"W-who I am?" he mimicked the woman. "W-well well I am Olymp."

He paused for a second and slouched a bit more so he stared at her from under his eyebrows. Making him appear rather big in his robes, even though he was scrawny and thin under all those clothing.

"Or or at least people call me Olymp..." He trailed of and raised himself in the height again, to his full lenght of his body. Still someone who didn't watch carefully would notice how thin he actually was. Why did people call him Olymp again? He had to think for a little while. Owh yes, people call me Olymp because I like the statues so much", he thought to himself. His eyes glazing for a minute or so, and he stood totally silent.

Then very bluntly and unexpected he raised his voice, "And who're you?" He placed his hands into his sides. Just now people might notice the thin frame he was carrying under his clothing. Pushing all the material to his sides. Of course, Olymp didn't notice the crowd that was gathering to the two of them.

Olymp never really payed attention to his surroundings, or maybe he could simply not focus on many things at the same time. But it was a matter that didn't concern him, and never thought about.

A scowl found it's way onto her face at his mimicry, high brow wrinkling. Gods, she'd only just met the man, and already she was frustrated enough to want to... well, shriek!

Olymp. Right. That told her a lot. Mentally, she scolded herself for even asking.

He stood, saying nothing, and Isaura restrained the urge she had to go do something that she would probably regret. Like push him over. He wouldn't even notice until it became too late; he wasn't even paying attent-

She was roughly drawn out of her increasingly strange thought pattern by his sudden question.

Her brow uncreased when he put his hands on his hips, as she seemed to realize that this was a random, seemingly crazy man. An insanely thin one, indeed. It would do her no good to argue with him, after all. Glancing down at the money bag in her hands, she remembered that she had somewhere to be. With a sigh, she stepped forward, subconsciously copying him and placing her hands on her hips, with the intention of stepping round him and being on her way. She didn't even think of pausing to offer her name

"Excuse me", she said in a firm voice, suddenly wanting to get away from this man very quickly.
