Administrator Posts: 248 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Oct 22, 2008	“Monday Night Mayhem…the last scheduled ACW card before our big Christmas PPY, is really shaping up into a great show.” Jen Barrett flashed her million dollar smile. Darnel Jackson seemed far less excitable. As the ACW lead broadcaster it seemed to be Jackson’s role in being the Ying to Barretts Yang, so whenever Jen was happy it was a safe bet that Jackson would be the polar opposite. Jackson I am looking forward to the Candace Okimura vs Athena match. The ACW title is on the line and I’m not sure that Athena doesn’t have the Dragon’s number. Barrett Well Athena is certainly a powerhouse…but I can’t help think that Candace will find a way to win this. She’s a long time veteran and a really talented wrestler… Jackson Uh…not so sure about that. Jen smiled. She was more than happy to disagree with her co-worker on this one. Barrett …speaking of Candace there is word that her long time tag team partner is making her big return at Mayhem… Jackson rolled his eyes, stifling a snicker as he shook his head disapprovingly. Jackson I don’t know who was behind that rumor, but I think its way of base. I am in the loop here in the ACW. People tell me things---things that are not exactly shared with the general rank and file ACW workers. I think if the Devil Matsumoto were to be really making a comeback that I would have heard about it. Jen furrowed her brow, glancing at her booking sheet as a look of confusion washed over her face. Jackson, as expected, appeared little more than bemused. Barrett It says here that Matsumoto is going to be facing the Franchise Evangeline Sinclair… Jackson again stifled a chuckle. Jackson In case you don’t know it our esteemed owner…Martin Frisconelli…has a tendency to sample the whiskey a bit too much. Devil Matsumoto is no longer an active competitor here in the ACW. I know she supposedly popped out a little Devil a month or so ago and is obviously in no shape to compete in an ACW ring. Barrett rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she again dropped her eyes to the booking sheet. Jackson You can look at the paper all you want, but trust me Devil Matsumoto is out of the game. I don’t even see her stepping back into the ring. Why would she risk it? Hey there was a time when the Devil was one of the greatest stars in the sport—perhaps the number one in all of wrestling—but this is 2008 and by all accounts Matsumoto ain’t the same Devil she once was. The words are barely out of Jackson’s mouth when “Battle without honor or compassion” begins to blare over the arena speakers. A thunderous ovation fills the auditorium as the lights dim and all lights turn to the entrance ramp. The music plays for a few more moments, finally ebbing to nothing as the lights again go on. Jackson, now appearing nervous as he stares in silence at the stage area, quickly brings his comments to a close. Jackson Well Monday Night Mayhem should be a great show…until then this is Darnel Jackson and my partner Jen Barrett saying see you at the show… Jackson, appearing nervous at the thought of a Devil Matsumoto appearance, quickly rushes out of the ring, leaving Jen Barrett looking on in bewilderment.
