Wrestlers name: Julia Peach![]() Commonly used nicknames: The GamesMistress, That Nerdy Chick, I<3Waluigi (her typical username) Disposition: Face Age: 23 Weight: 145lbs Height: 5'7" Hometown: 'The Lylat System' (actually somewhere in Seattle, but she prefers the quoted description) Gimmick: Obsessive videogame freak who seems to have stumbled into wrestling completely by accident. Appearance: Julia has an attractive, open face, devoid of much makeup, and brilliant green eyes that can be somewhat unnerving when they fix onto your own. Her skin is pale, but surprisingly clear of acne and suchlike. Her hair typically falls to the base of her neck and is kept straight, with an even, pudding-bowl fringe covering her forehead. Her 31-26-30 figure shows little muscle development, although after two months' intensive play of Rayman Raving Rabbids, her arms are pretty darn strong, if not a little sore. She tends to dress casually in or out of the ring, favouring slightly loose jeans, colourful trainers by Kustom or some other cheap & cheerful brand, an amusing game-related t-shirt (she particularly favours the Donkey Kong 'Chimp My Ride' design) and some jazzy bangles around her left wrist. Her right hand is covered by an old NES Power Glove, featuring a miniature keyboard and all the buttons from the proper NES controller. During her entrance, she wears a red cap similar to that sported by Mario, but with a 'J' where the 'M' should be. Entrance Music: 'Rave On' by the GHM Sound Team Entrance Description: As 'Rave On' blares across the arena, candy-apple red spotlights shaped like the Atari logo focus on the stage, and a large green pipe raises out of the floor. A few seonds pass...then Julia Peach springs out of the pipe's opening and lands on the stage with a stumble, mile-wide grin plastered to her face as the crowd come alive. She skips quickly down to the ring, obligingly slapping high-fives with a few ringside fans as she goes, before sliding in under the bottom rope and hopping up onto one of the turnbuckles. She takes off her 'J'-branded Mario Bros. cap and throws it into the crowd, before stepping back down to the canvas and preparing for the match the only way she knows how: by trying to get her Power Glove to synchronise properly. Bio: Julia Peach (probably not her real name) has lived her life in quiet obscurity, rarely bothering to associate with other girls her age despite her affable, friendly persona. Instead, she finds solace within videogames, and seeks deeper understanding of each one than most others would dare bother with. If there's a slight difference in how quickly Leon runs between the PSX and PC versions of Resident Evil 2, she'll notice it. If the men at Namco have removed even a single frame from Yoshimitsu's B+2 punch combo in the latest Tekken instalment, she'll know it, and declare it broken. (actually, that'd be cruel, since Yoshi's been underpowered for ages and really deserves some improved ass-kicking ability) Some people call it OCD. She'd probably agree with them. How she wound up wrestling is a mystery, but she takes it moderately seriously...unless she's going for a new Burnout 3 Crash Junction high score, which obviously must take priority over everything else. Though she gets bored easily by prolonged conversation, Julia never deliberately aims to upset anyone, and plays fairly - cheats are for scrubs. She's also quite thick-skinned, and will generally rise above any insults thrown against her. Mockery directed at gaming as a whole, on the other hand? That will set her off very quickly. Wrestles Similarly To: A clumsy CM Punk mixed with Mickie James. Abilities Profile Everyone has thirty (30) points to spread over 4 catagories. They are as follows. Strength: 6 Speed: 7 Stamina: 7 Charisma: 10 The moves now go into four categories, Finishers, Low Impact Moves, High Impact Moves, Trademark Moves and finishers. (Or as we like to say here is the ACW "Finish her!") Feel free to get imaginative with these, they are your character's most personal moves that define her as a wrestler. Try to list two finishing moves. That way if someone is writing a match they can reference this and get an idea for a possible conclusion. LOW IMPACT MOVES 1. Little Mac Strikes (boxing-style lower body hook punches) 2. Siegfried's Snapmare (it's a normal Snapmare) 3. Fist of I.N.K.T (like a Burning Hammer, except massively underpowered) 4. FOXHOUND Takedown (Rear Naked Choke from behind standing opponent, lowering them to the floor as they weaken) 5. T-Virus Injection (a very quick DDT) HIGH IMPACT MOVES 1. Triforce Lock (Triangle hold submission) 2. G-Virus Injection (Springboard off top rope into a Tornado DDT) 3. Damn You Sephiroth! (Hop onto opponent's shoulders, as if for a Hurricanrana, but instead chooses to wail on their head with repeated punches, thusly demonstrating that Julia still hasn't gotten over Aeris' death) 4. Shoryuken (A Dragon Punch, just like Ryu and Ken do in Street Fighter games) 5. Bad Habit (Big kick to the crotch which, confusingly, can hurt girls just as well as boys) TRADMARK MOVES 1. That Is Galactic Dancing (Miz-style running Clothesline to an opponent in the corner, after which Julia grabs the opponent's nearest arm, pulls a back somersault with help from the ropes, and performs an Arm Drag upon landing) 2. Continue? (Same setup as a Sharpshooter, but after turning the opponent over, Julia falls onto her back sharply, like in an Indian Death Lock, keeping the opponent's legs twisted around one of hers the whole time) 3. Phazon Bomb (Counter to most diving moves: when the opponent is in midair, Julia jumps up, places her hands on their torso, and literally pushes them down into a Powerbomb similar to D-Lo Brown's Sky High; can be held on for a pin) 4. 1-UP (Like 'hulking up', but with mushrooms) FINISHERS 1. Strawberry on the Shortcake Description/set up move: Julia doubles the opponent over with a knee strike (or similar move), then hooks in a front facelock and lifts them up into a Stalling Suplex; she then drops the opponent forward whilst simultaneously sinking down to one knee, making the opponent's face crack into that knee on the way down. 2. This Week's Climax! Description/set up move: Starts with a run towards a standing opponent, which results in a Shining Wizard; then Julia slips over their shoulder, locks her arms around their waist and performs a German Suplex; then she flips straight over their crunched-up body, winding up on her feet and around at their head, before pulling them up by the neck and waist to deliver an Edgecution-style DDT.
