So you’ve stumbled over this site as you surf the web and find yourself wondering exactly what the hell it is that your looking at. Your most likely a season wrestling fan and as you go over the roster you realize that not a one of the names is a house hold name and they aren’t exactly competing for the Main event at Wrestlemania. You start to wonder if you had a bit too much to drink or if that beer and whiskey mix was really a good idea after all. Relax. Its all good. Your looking at an efed here. During the past few years efeds have strung up all over the internet. They are basically small communities of people who have a bit of time on their hands and a passion for professional wrestling—or ladies boxing as is the case with our sister promotion the VOB. The ACW stands for Amazon Championship Wrestling and what it basically is is our version of Monday Night Raw here in cyberspace. People create a wrestler—or several if they have the time and inclination to do so—and they write fan fiction for them in the form of roleplays. We hold a card every other week and the management of the ACW (i.e. the people who were crazy enough to make this fed in the first place) put together and post the cards in much the same way that the people put together Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for the WWE. In a few ways we are like the WWE. We have cards and PPVs like they do. We have a few titles up for grabs like they do, and we put out a show like they do. I think we have a few advantages—no one gets to experience getting Choke slammed by Kane or pummeled by the Great Khali here and unlike the WWE our members can write and do whatever they feel like. At the end of the day I’m sure some would consider it all a waste of time, but as a wrestling fan I think its time well spent. I’d much rather do this than watch Dancing with the Stars anyway! So here are the details. If you’d like to be a member of our roster all you need to do is go to our Superstar profiles and copy our template. Put it in a word processing program like Microsoft word or even word pad and fill out the details. You can add more if you want, the choice is yours. Post it as a separate post in the Superstar Profiles section and you’re wrestler is on the roster. You can expect to be booked on the next card. The ACW is an angle based wrestling efed. What that means is that we run things the same way that most efeds run. Members post rps for the upcoming cards and are in complete control of their characters and storylines. The management makes the decisions on who wins and loses the matches based on that we feel works best for the fed. Like the WWE there is no real "competition"--everything is based on character and kayface and everything is a storyline. If one person beats his opponent its not because he's a better writer or more popular or a member of a particular click, its because we felt it was a good angle to run. We feel that roleplaying and being a member of an efed should be fun and stress free and with the angle fed method we feel we can make the place more enjoyable for everyone involved. Just like the WWE we run card to show and have a few PPVs thrown in to spice things up. We try to save our bigger matches for the PPVs so the odds of seeing a Hell in the Cell match at a normal show are pretty slim. However we do try and make one big match her show so you never really know what to expect on the actual cards until they are posted. Basically that’s it in a nutshell. Feel free to join the forums and then enter your character. We look forward to reading your debut rp. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or hit me up on MSN (gamingthreat@comcast.net) and I’ll be more than happy to talk about the ACW with you. Frisco Owner and General manager.
