Bella Jones Jr ~ Hopefully. I think I’m the better all-round wrestler between the two of us, so that should be enough to give me the right opportunities to pick up the victory. And anyone who knows me will tell you that I very rarely let an opportunity to win slip by. I rarely lose a ‘Match Point’. Besides, I have to win this match, really. I’m dedicating the bout to my late mother. Interviewer ~ I believe the funeral has already taken place. Is that true? Bella Jones Jr ~ Yes, it took place two days ago. It was a private affair with only a handful of friends and family. It’s how my mother would have wanted it. There will be a ceremony open to the public following the next VOB show. Anyone who wishes to attend that is welcome to do so. I’ll be making an appearance to make a few words, just to thank everyone for their support, etcetera. Interviewer ~ Speaking of the VOB promotion, where your mother worked, do you hold any grudges with the promotion for what happened? Bella Jones Jr ~ No. In fact I’d be interested in making a move there some time in the future. Interviewer ~ Really? That’s big news! Bella Jones Jr ~ Mum always wanted me to be a boxer. She never really approved of professional wrestling. She used to be my boxing coach from when I was about six right to my late teens. I think it disappointed her when I gave boxing up for wrestling. I was in the middle of that stubborn, rebellious teenager phase and then just fell in love with wrestling. Interviewer ~ So will you be resigning from ACW? Bella Jones Jr ~ No, I have a contract to honour at ACW. I plan on doing double-duty. ACW and VOB both do one show every two weeks. If I join both promotions I’ll be able to fight once a week, which will help me develop. I want to put the work in now so I can retire when I’m too old. I want to learn from my mother’s mistake. Interviewer ~ Did VOB contact you? Bella Jones Jr ~ No, I contacted them. I insisted that I wanted to join VOB there and then but they were conscious of my loss and wanted me to go home, recover, and think things through before signing anything official. But with all respect, I can’t see me changing my mind on this.
