|Bella Jones Junior is sat in a studio and the lights are down low. She is occupying a comfortable couch and opposite her, in another couch, is a middle-aged, grey-haired man in a navy blue suit. Bella herself is dressed in a black sweater with matching black trousers and black shoes. Her face is pale, her eyes are bloodshot and she is without make-up. The interviewer speaks to her in a soft voice| Interviewer ~ Hello, Bella, and thank you very much for joining us here in the studio. We approached you for a statement and you very kindly offered to come to the studio in order to discuss the recent occurrence in-depth. Bella Jones Jr ~ It’s my pleasure. Middlesex is the place where both my mother and I were born and it only seems right that I speak to the local news station before going to the international broadcasting companies. Interviewer ~ How are you, Bella? I assume you’re still in shock. Bella Jones Jr ~ Shock isn’t really the right word. Hand to hand combat will always have its risks and the worst case scenario will always be death. I’m just devastated. I’m mourning the loss of my mother. At the moment I’m just trying to keep my mind busy. Interviewer ~ Well, on behalf of myself and the whole of Middlesex, we’re all saddened by this unfortunate news and our thoughts go out to you and the rest of your family. Bella Jones Jr ~ Thanks. Interviewer ~ It would have been very easy to pull out of your upcoming ACW match against Devil Matsumoto but you’re valiantly going ahead with it. Looking at you now, and I mean no offence by this, it looks like you’re in no condition to go through with it. Bella Jones Jr ~ I’ll be okay. Like I said, I want to keep my mind busy. If I’m not at the show fighting, what else would I be doing? I’d probably be sat alone, thinking about my mother, slipping further and further into a stupor. Some friends have told me that doing your job takes your mind off of a loss – if only for fifteen minutes.
