ALright just got back from our great time at Tekkoshocon in the hills of Pittsburgh, PA. and hell yeah we had fun. This was the first con in a while that I have had fun. First off thanks to all the cool people we've met (of course). Best part of tekko is that most the staff is down to earth and friendly *kudos to you all* Of course up there with them is Noobie Games!! Which we had a freaking blast with hanging out with all weekend. Shout out time!!! our friends from Kentucky (sarah j, and company *sorry i suck with names :*? ) our rock band buds! including complimentary breakfast the pokemon army we had in the lobby our statue battle people!!! and of course A&G staff that traveled from far out like Tennessee to come out. *Post your pics!!!*      Edited by sixpod, Apr 14 2008, 09:49 PM.

Well i am glad you all had fun, I am seriously missing the con scene, i really wish i could have gone, blast the ACTs oh well forwarding my life, just gotta keep telling myself that. |

I present to you your con chair's idea of an Epic Mini Rave costume: The name's Caitlin or Mei, btw. :p Or, if you must, I'm sure Manny told you the nickname he gave me at A&G and I will, sadly, answer to it. If you have some nice flyers you'd like to end up in the hands of possible con-goers for next year, our crew will be at OMG!!con and Origins Game Expo in June and I know I'm not adverse to carting about my bag of holding and jamming papers into people's hands. |

Oh, man, you guys are full of win for even offering.  I do, however, already have a hotel for Origins. My friend, Angela, and I have made it a yearly ritual to stay in the Courtyard Mariott and enjoy the walk from the hotel to the convention center while I get stared at for my costumes. We'll be going up on Thursday morning and hopefully staying until everything is over, though I'll probably only see close if I drive separately.As for the others, OMGcon is in, Origins, Ikasucon, GenCon Indy, Matsuricon, Tsubasacon, and Sugoicon for this year. My mom has a copy machine I can use at whim so mass production of flyers is a go. |
