Ahh, the breeze against your skin. It was a beautiful day in Medellian City. The people were bustling and the soft sea air blew through your hair. It was the perfect day. The light was shining, but it was a nice seventy degrees. You were on the edge of Medellian, just a few feet from the boardwalk which ran along the ocean. This place seemed to peaceful, quiet. Lots of people had their Pokemon by their sides as they walked down the roads of this fine city. Suddenly, the clock tower rung and everyone seemed to panic. They all ran into their shops and into their houses. Even the people at the boardwalk seemed to dissipate into the nearby boat. What was going on? Why was everyone going inside and closing their shops in the middle of the day? It was beautiful, why wasn't anyone enjoying it? When everything seemed quiet, someone called to you in a hushed tone. "Kid! Get in here! What are you doing out there still!? You're gonna get yourself killed!" the man said as he ran out, looking cautiously as he did. He grabbed your arm and forced you into his house. Didn't look like you even got to fight back. "A band of Viper's are going to be here soon! They'll take over your Pokemon and anything else you have if you are seen! That's why every day at this time, people close their shops until the group has gone through town." he explained to you, grabbing a cup of tea and sipping on it. "Would you care for some?" he asked, kindly. Well, this town sure seemed to be brimming with power, huh? That is such sarcasm because all of these people with their Pokemon can't take on just a few trainers? Psh, that's child's play if you ask me. Oh, and here they come now! You can hear them on their motorcycles! How lovely. Well, it seems as though they're here to take anyone's Pokemon who they see. What a mean little group of people. Oh well, it was up to you now what you wanted to do. So choose wisely. |

Ahh, what a lovely day. The sun was shining down as Becky strolled down ildly through Medellian, her trusty Growlithe at her side. She couldn't have chosen a better time to start her journey. Or could she? Suddenly, the clock tower rang and the whole atmosphere of calmness was lost in an instant. A man grabbed the surprised and confused Becky, who in turn grabbed Furoe. A band of Vipers? That didn't sound good. Even Furoe could sense the tension and whined slightly. "No thanks," Becky said as the man offered her a drink - she'd never really liked tea. Outside she could hear motorcyles approaching and assumed they were this bunch of people Medellian was so afraid of. Although she found it hard to get her head around that all those people walking with their Pokemon earlier couldn't take this gang on. "Can I stay here until they pass?" Becky asked the man. She didn't really fancy losing her Pokemon and items on the first day of her journey. She also quickly shut the front door just in case. She wasn't scared... she was just using her common sense in knowing that she alone couldn't beat these Vipers. |

"Of course," he said simply, then sat down in a nearby armchair. "We'll have to stay in here a while, though - they always stay for at least half an hour." A whole half hour?! Well, at least this guy seems nice, right? Okay. Waiting time! However, this time the motorcycles seem to rev around town for much longer than half an hour - in fact, they stay for over a full hour! And despite the man's original talkiness, he doesn't seem to want to speak to you anymore. He just sits there, staring at you a bit creepily, sipping at his tea. The only disturbance comes close to the end of the time stuck in the house with the seemingly nice (though rather creepy) guy. Outside, you hear a scream! "Not my Glameow! Please, let me keep her!" Hmm, it seems like a Pokemon trainer had been caught outside...what to do, what to do... Out the window, it is possible to see a single, lonely Viper hassling that poor trainer. It could be a trap, though - you can't see down alleys and such from that window, after all, and they were being rather loud. Now, what would you do? Stay indoors with the guy that insisted on staring at you for over an hour yet remain safe, or go out there and help that trainer against the single Viper that might have set up a trap? |
