Darkwind ~ストーム Posts: 2,313 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: May 25, 2008 Gender Male	Trailer available in HD below on gametrailers http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-zeldas-zelda-spirit/58651 this trailer had its debut on a Gametrailers Special on SpikeTV Last night, and in the special, several details about the game were revealed that arent in the trailer. the most important being that "Spirit tracks is a sequel to phantom hourglass" which most likely means that the game takes place AFTER phantom hourglass, leaving the timeline gap up for speculation (and adding a 5th link to my timeline, dammit.) another thing is that the link in this game is an "engineer's aprentice" who, at the beginning of the game, attends a ceremony of sorts to christen him as a full engineer. to learn more go here. http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=103197#comment-section going back to the trailer... It looks like the whip is the exact same thing as the rope snake from mother 3. thats awesome. I also love how Zelda Plays much more of a role in this game, assuming the empty role of links companion that is usually a fair- wait is that a GANON TRAIN!? and on a personal note I THINK THE MUSIC. IS. AMAZING.

The Local Steampunk Posts: 724 Group: Member Member #8 Joined: May 31, 2008 Gender Male	Well, ISA tremendously. Zelda is now Patrick Swayze (she's dead AND is a ghost!) It's obviously not a coincidence that the whip looks like Mother 3's Rope Snake. But... I haven't bought in to the engineer's apprentice part and the plot seems bumpy, as you said earlier, "An ocean doesnt dry up overnight." But it looks promising. Spirit tracks is making more and more timeline sense every day and I'm surprised :O usually zelda games give us little or no insight at all as to where they are in the timeline, and here this game is, the very first threquel in the zelda series.

Darkwind ~ストーム Posts: 2,313 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: May 25, 2008 Gender Male	I don't think you get it. time passed normally durring PH, there was no time dilation. actually thats not it either... its more of the opposite of what you said. at the end of PH the pirates were like "what are you guys talking about, you were only gone ten minutes." so the entirety of the game happened as if it was a dream. (It really wasn't, but everyone but link and tetra think it is.) nevertheless the hundred years that pass, happen AFTER PH ends, not during it. so its not the same link, probably his son or something. why? this link has different voice acting.
