It's been a long ass time, but here we are. This is for the members that have already came back, and for any possible returning members. I'm just writing this to let you all know that I am completely serious about restarting and re-vamping this site. I'd love to get our little community back up again, and maybe even expand that little community! |
In-Game Info: Year: 2005 Month: August |
| I want to also apologize for my sudden absence from here. Personal life was becoming very tough and, without going into too much detail, I was at a very bad place in my life. But now things are getting better, and I'm ready to start becoming an active RPer again, and to re-connect with all of you guys! So, here's some general questions I have for you all: do you want to restart our roleplays or wrap up what we already have? Also, what sorts of changes would you like to see around here? We'll discuss all of this in the coming weeks. I want to give you an idea of what will be different with this re-opening. 1. The Site Rules will probably be updated. The update probably won't be too major, but enough will be different that it will warrant a look from new and existing members. 2. My expectations for writing quality are going to be stricter. Your Rain was open to RPers of all experience levels in the past, but I need to start expecting a certain level of quality. Not perfection, of course, because nobody's perfect. But since I've matured as a writer, I'm going to want a mature group of writers on the site. My vision for what I want this site to be and what I want it to become has changed since I started out. This is really aimed more at new members, because I know the existing members are all very talented writers. But just don't be surprised if I'm more meticulous than I was when the site started. I hope I don't come across as an asshole though! Your Rain will, of course, be first and foremost about having fun in the world of Silent Hill, so don't expect that to change any time soon. And as always, I will accept members regardless of their level of Silent Hill knowledge, because they can always be teached! Anyway, I'm very excited to be continuing with this site, and hopefully make it even better than before! -Adrien |

Picking his head up from his arms and the table Felix took the ointment gingerly and began splashing himself with the ointment and then rubbing it in, causing humorous fluctuations in his voice or sudden shudders. "Oh? It's a good thing the streets didn't go out with you on them." He then looked out of the window for a beat and a half then resumed, "Nice to meet you Frank. Je m'appelle Felix Eamon, at your service." Putting down the ointment he placed it in one of his jackets many large pockets. And approached the door hastily. "I'm lucky it was just smoke.. one of those other things and I would have died." Looking over to Fred he gave a large grin and said. "I don't think it's a good Idea for ud to stay right where we are any longer..." Felix had many questions for this freshly trapped soul, however a strange sense of urgency was keeping him from staying there much longer. |

"That thought never came to mind" Fred said as he suddenly felt a pang of relief that the chasms really didn't suddenly appear under him, he would most likely be dead if that had happened and if it didn't, well, he just put that thought aside for now. He then gave Felix a puzzled look, wondering why it was best to leave"...Really?! w-well, OK. Your the expert.....just let me try and look for a knife. I- I don't think I can keep carrying a chair" He said as he checked some of the drawers inside the cafe. A few moments passed as he searched the drawers and pantries. The atmosphere outside began to darken, the air suddenly growing thicker as the buildings outside quickly began to decay at rapid speed with the roads becoming more fleshy and skin like, with a human like color and veins littering the surface. All of this accompanied by the sudden sound that reminiscent of an old school bell "Ah, here we god" Fred said raising his head up only to notice the sudden change in decor which made Fred's face as pale as a ghost " Wh-what the HELL" he shouted as he nearly dropped the kitchen knife he was holding. ((hope you don't mind the changes I made to the otherworld, from what I understood is that the otherworld is sometimes how someones perceives it)) Edited by Fred Sanders, Jan 17 2012, 12:07 AM.

((Not at all, the more we stray the brighter my day lol, I just hope you don't mind me disappearing last night :X)) Looking from Fred to outside the cafe rapidly Felix had to agree with his decision, though it made him nervous. Upon attempting to open the door to taste some slightly less stale air the change had already started. "Too late now..." he then grabbed the relinquished chair and gave Fred a sympathetic look "Yeah man.... aside from this and the monsters.... Silent Hills a great place for the whole family...." Thinking for a second he found he had a few more things to ask, "Do, you still have the package? Because if so, it's a high risk high reward thing when shit gets like this. It's up to you if you want to open it." After some deliberation felix picked up the chair and shouted "Alright, let's do this!" Giving the chair a toss he grabbed his ax. |

((Nah, I don't expect you to be here 24/7 so its all good)) " N-n-no, I delivered it. Scary part....though not as FREAKY AS THIS , is that the building I delivered it to disappeared the same time the town went from normal to purgatory, and now its this " Fred said with panic highlighting his voice as he gripped the knife tightly "Oh god, I didn't know law firms took over the town " He nervously chuckled, hoping the joke made some sense, more to himself considering 'CALM THE HELL DOWN' constantly came to mind "G-go?!" He whimpered, hell on earth turned out be truer than one would think. Following Felix outside the cafe, he noted just how hellish silent hill ' I'M WALKING ON A GROUND OF SKIN, A GROUND OF SKIN !!!!' He thought, fear nearly overtaking him as he walked on the ......road "There's no place like home, there's no place like home " He chanted quietly looking at his surroundings "Wh-where should w-we g-go?" Felix's right eye gave a slight twitch, a telltale sign he didn't quite understands something. Climbing through the broken window he looked around at the new and horrible aesthetics. Giving the ground a quick stomp he almost expected to hear a scream or groan. "Oooooook.. this, this is new. I don't know what the fuck....." His usual smirk cycled from disgust to confusion to surprise as he acknowledged Fred's question. "I. Honestly hadn't thought that far ahead. I was on my way to rosewater. Not sure why... I know we shouldn't go to Brookhaven... and something weird happened when I last went to the Elementary school..." Rummaging through one of his pockets Felix hauled out a heavily weathered map. And handed the thing over to Fred. "Here, you pick. X Means Bad, Square means good, Circle means dunno and Triangle.. we never speak of." |

"Th-then I suppose....."He examined the map carefully, in all honestly with the way things are now, he doubted that anywhere was safe, but common sense told him to choose the police station, as fucked up as the town is the police station should at least have some things they would definitely need "The police station, its got a circle around it and i-it may have things we need" he said pointing to as he handed back the map. Suddenly a familiar moaning sound was heard in the distant darkness, considering how recent it was heard last, there was no doubt it was another of those putty heads, two judging by the sound "W-we should get going " he gulped as he brought up the knife in the opposite direction of the sound" Edited by Fred Sanders, Jan 17 2012, 11:32 PM.

"Yeah, makes sense." Felix retrieved the map and quickly memorized the way. Looking back and forth Felix was about to give a warning when he was then interrupted by the noise of some creatures in the distances. "Sweet honorable.... great idea man, let's book it!" Zipping up all of his coats various zippers Felix's grip on his ax tightened to a nearly painful degree. He was unbearably nervous, everyone else he had met either died or disappeared. Leading the charge Felix made sure not to go too fast or too far as he had no idea how fast Fred was, or if he'd find himself running off the edge of whatever they were walking on, the damn stuff seemed to glow wherever that had just stepped, maybe it was his imagination, though that disclaimer doesn't account for much, given the circumstances. "Not far now! Don't stop!" |

" I'm going as fast I *puff* can" Fred exclaimed as he ran after Felix, who seemed to know where they were goind. It was disgusting to know that this road of skin is just that ' Damn this town, wait.....its already damned' He thought as he continued after Felix "A-are we there *huff* yet ?" he asked in a tired voice, the overweight young man could feel his heart pounding in his chest as if it were trying to get out, how far was it? |

Slowing his pace Felix extended his arm to sort of passively block Fred. "Just around the corner. For this we've got to be as quiet as possible or when we leave we might get swamped." He then peeked around the fleshy wall and turned back to Fred quickly. "I'm guessing it's the set of double doors, can't see much of anything since everything is so damn fleshy, *gag* goddamn, I wasn't thinking about it, and just now I.... let's just get moving.." Moving out from behind the corner Felix moved out a little from the wall to gauge whether anything was nearby, leaving the process of finding the door up to Fred, seeing as if Felix looked at any of the surfaces he'd surely enter a vomiting fit. |

" I'm glad I got a cast-iron stomach" he muttered quietly as he glanced around the fleshy corner 'OK, maybe not' he thought as he accidentally touch said fleshy corner " Oh dear god" He said trying to push away the thoughts of how fleshy this world is. Barely noticeable, the double doors of the police station were an inviting sight. Compared to everything around he and Felix, it looked normal, which is all they could ask for 'Unless its a trap' he thought "O-ok, Follow me I suppose" he said nervously as Felix looked like he was about to throw up that lemon drink he had earlier. At this point a mad dash was the best option as he ran frantically to the door |
