Character Picture: ![]() Equipment: Book of nothing more than flowers and various plant life containing inside it's pages. What could be the reason to carry this around? Background: There was a mass of roaring in his ears that came from all directions. The situation called for it so it seemed. The boy's vision was blurred and his mind was racing. Everything spun before his eyes and a dark hue hovered around his sight along with the purple that made the sense of him being "cursed." Between the conflictual haze from his sight and the hair in his face he couldn't tell where the fist had gone that connected with his face. The roar of the kids around grew fainter the closer he came to losing his consciousness with the realm. His body fell back, too weak and exhausted to continue to fight back. A warm sensation flooded his sense of touch and for a moment it had gone unnoticed to what it could have been. Tears had been streaming down his face that tickled at the sore part of cheek, delivering to it a calming delight. He soaked into his darkened place, senses hindered but the touch of someone holding him close. "Don't worry, Kiryuu" the calm voice beckoned him back, relieving him of fright. The younger boy's brother turned to stand, facing the boy that dared harm the kin he held so dear. The already dim view of the scene faded from there, hiding the fate of Shishio. Regardless of his own harm that came from the memory it was one of the fondest moments he had. His brother saved him that day and further than just physical harm. He had saved him emotionally. He awoke on a piece of furniture, ice upon his head and an ache in most of his body. "Boy, what happened to Kiryuu? You know he isn't meant to fight! Look at him. You are the older brother and you didn't keep him from getting into that mess?" Their father ranted, obviously clueless to the reason the fight was even picked with Kiryuu. The youngest stayed quite. He was far from brave enough to speak up and explain why Shishio wasn't able to protect him. The eldest looked to his brother, examining not the bruises, but the saddened face upon him. "I am sorry, Father. I just wasn't fast enough to get to him. I thought he would be safe alone for a moment," it was a lie. In truth, Kiryuu wandered off. He left his brother's side and because of his deep connection to his mother and his feminine physique he had been picked on. Regrettably the father raised his hand, smacking his son quickly across the face once. The father turned away, not wanting to stare into the eyes after having to punish him in such a manner. "I... hope this puts it into your head. You can't leave him alone. Now, run off to bed," he spoke in a soft tone. Despite his strict behavior their father was loving, but if he couldn't teach them between right and wrong how could they possibly make a true living? The two stumbled to bed, their mother pursuing after. After climbing into bed she tucked Kiryuu in as he always loved from her. Shishio on the other hand, being more mature, felt he was too old for such treatment. She placed a book near Kiryuu and smiled, "I know how you love gardening with me and stealing peeks at this old ragged book, but hopefully you'll get peace sleeping with it," after speaking she turned away, proceeding to the door before stopping. "Shishio, you know your father loves you." He nodded in response, watching her drift from the room. "S-Shishio...?" "Yes?" he responded. "Why did you lie...? Y-you didn't have to do that," Kiryuu pushed deeper, trying to unravel the mystery to his reasoning. "You're my brother." It was simple, but deep for the little boy. He felt grateful to have such a protective person at his side while hand in hand with his mother's warm touch. "Kiryuu, we have to do more. You can do more... I think it's time to enroll," his voice called across the room, driving into the younger brother's head. The boy nodded; however, a fear lingered in him that night. What would become of him? Not all that much of a fan of the type of history. Would've rather to have more insight on what happened in his earlier childhood, but meh, it's good enough. the damn blinking picture got me.. Accepted. |

Not really what we/I look for in a history, but it doesn't matter. It can be in this form, I just don't like when it focuses on a certain/specific part of his history. |
