Welcome to Yamagakure. We hope you enjoy your visit.

This is a game which is provided by seasoned role-players wanting a place to do their writing. As it is role-playing, there will be very little verbs if any that will allow your character to do anything outside walk around the village. The majority of actions which your character can and will perform are done through the emote verb. In order to begin your RP experience here, it is necessary that you visit the forum for the game so that you can create a character application whereupon it will be accepted by the Administrators of the forum given it adheres to the criteria of the game. Once your set, you can dive into an experience of RP that will pull you into it just as though you were actually reading a story.

Konohagakure
The market district of Konoha bustled with a lively hum today, faint voices of traders and the fools who fell for their lies forming the main orchestra. The sun shone down brightly, though the wind blew enough to make it tolerable. A small tumbleweed bustled along merrily, without anything to disturb it's passing. And, as this depressing, traveling weed bounced in front of the empty tea shop, a depressed sigh was heard.

Genjuu laid his chin upon his outstretched hand, bored out of his mind. Several cups that should have been full of tea right now, weren't. Several more tea cups lay neatly in piles behind him in a cabinet, now starting to collect dust now that they weren't being used for such a long period. Genjuu wondered curiously where all his customer's had gone. Hell, even some of his closer customer's that he actually liked to talk to weren't coming around, and they came to the tea shop near as often as an alcoholic went to get some sake. Yet, for the past week, the shop had been empty. What could possibly be causing it?

A man suddenly diverged from the crowd. His clothing was tattered and muddy; obviously had been traveling quite a bit.

He coughed, his head low and his hood over his head. He seemed shy; or was it fearful? "I'd like some sake, sir." he grumbled, fiddling with his finger's.

Genjuu eyed the man curiously from over the counter, standing up and speaking with his bellowing voice, "Sorry, 'sir', but you've come to the wrong shop..." Genjuu paused for a moment, letting the man get up, but before he walked away, he spoke again, "But... I can make an exception for mercenary."

The man froze for a moment, turning back again to sit down, those his fists were clenched tightly now, and, judging by his actions, he was probably gritting his teeth with frustration as he spoke, "What gave me away?", his voice grittier, as if the one before was just an act.

Genjuu lazily poured the man a cup of Saki, handing it to him casually as he began pointing out detail, "Your clothing, particularly your boot's and trench coat, are muddy, citing that you have been traveling. Your cloth's are torn in a fashion only a blade could have done; you're apparently sloppy. And, to top it all off, you left a bloodstain on your coat, on your left shoulder. That looks questionable to anyone perceptive enough to notice it, don't you think?" Genjuu spoke, smiling at the man, who merely looked at him wide-eyed in response, forcing a laugh from Genjuu.

Setting out...

The path that led to the Hidden Village was obviously well hidden, but the man who he had asked was kind enough to let Genjuu know where to find it; he knew a man's body language well enough to know that the man had only responded because Genjuu was so imposing, which only forced another laugh out of the heavily-built man, though it was more of a light chuckle than anything. He'd packed all his things, having left Konohagakure behind without a second thought--it was boring there now, anyway, and nobody had the heart to visit him anymore. A cowardly lot, all of em'.

He found himself in Yamagakure only a day following the one described, a pleasantly wide smile spread across his features as a snowflake met his cheek. "Yes," he thought, taking his first steps into the foreign world, "I'm going to like this."
I am a Yamagakure original!
