Personal Information BYOND Key: Thej78 Name: Tagawa Ozuki Gender:Male Age: 13 Rank / Occupation: Genin Other Information Brief Description: Tagawa is caucasian and wears a plain red t shirt with a black vest over it which is open and loose, he has loose baggy blue pants and white tennis shoes. he is slightly if even noticeable, more muscular in his chest and back area, but its only because he constantly wears his puppet on his back, even when not doing a misson or at home. Height: 61 inches Weight: 93 lbs Eye Color: Hazel Hair Style / Color: Long straightened light black hair that goes a couple inches below his shoulders. Character Picture: http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=zHAawG5Dm5aI3crGwyIcKoh4l5k2TGxc Personality: Tagawa is for the most part a nice person, he is loyal to his village and even more loyal to his friends. He is usually happy to help anyone out that needs help. Even though he is a nice person, he will make the occasional remark, though most of the time as a joke. He can most of the time be seen tweaking or examining his Puppet, or writing in his design book. Some people would probably wonder if he does anything other then puppet based activities if they knew him long enough. One quirk about him is his personal code of honor, though he doesn't talk about his code of honor alot, It mostly involves trust and honor. He hates people who manipulate others just for their personal gain. He hates people like this more then other people with evil intent because when you say you are on someones side or their friend, it is a sign of trust, but people who exploit trust like that make him sick. Occasionally Tagawa will want to spar someone, most of the time the first person he sees. This would be because of him making a new strategy for his puppets and wanting to test it, or having a new technique he would want to see in action while in a actual fight, though he try's to perfect techniques before using them, making these times where he wants to spar quite Exceedingly rare. Another quirk is that even though tagawa is a good natured person by heart, he could be exceedingly condescending and rude if someone scoffs at his work on puppets. Most of the time, insults towards him are shrugged off, but he has spent a large amount of time in his work, alot of it he considers of some of the highest quality for a person of his skill and age. Whether this is true or not, he takes high offense to comments that insult his puppet or the amount of skill and time he put into it. Equipment: Tagawa's puppet which was appropriately named Scythe was custom built by Tagawa himself. it is as tall as him and made of thick wood and covered with light but durable metal plates. The puppet is in the design of a human but has some armadillo like features. both of its hands are clawed but on the inner part of the arms are hidden scythes which can be extended at will by the puppet master. Scythe also has a smoke bomb launcher in its mouth with a storage compartment for the smoke bombs in the upper chest area. Each claw on its hands also have a needle launcher inside of them, which are revealed when the claw hinges open. each needle launcher can only hold 10 needles each, which all together would be hundred needles before running out. when not in use, the puppet is rolled into a ball on Tagawa's back, which he can carry with surprising ease. it is rolled into a stance so it could be used as a quick escape method by deploying the scythes on the puppets arms upwards while it is rolled up. this is very useful for catching the enemy off guard and could be used in a variety of situations. Puppet Picture: http://nagato-power.deviantart.com/art/Armadillo-Puppet-106910565?q=1&qo=1 Background: Tagawa's Parents never stayed in one place for long, as they were traveling merchants among small villages and outposts. they went to different countries and places, selling their goods, buying interesting stuff from the place they were currently at, and selling it somewhere they could make a good profit. With Tagawa's birth it put a wrench in their trade as they wanted a place to raise a child that was stable, but they still needed more yen before they could go into retirement. As the years went by and the collection of the back stock of yet to be sold merchandise grew, Tagawa grew older and always was trying to get into his parents stock of merchandise, interested by all the strange and weird looking things. By the age of 5 he got a hold of some of his parents stock, which he made a 1 foot toy sized version of his current puppet which even his parents had no idea how he did it. It of course had no weaponry installed but his parents still considered it a sign of a natural puppet master. This ended up starting Tagawa's fascination with puppets and techniques based around them. the concept of building his own puppet also was very interesting for him. Not too surprisingly, he was also good at puzzles which could relate to how he made the puppet. It always seemed like he knew the exact place to put something in puzzles or his puppet creations, making some people wonder if he was memorizing puzzle pieces or thinking of parts for puppets far in advance when it was more of just a natural talent for him to piece together something from pieces. By the end of that year, they bought a house in the village hidden behind the mountains and at age 7, they let Tagawa join the academy. and by the age of 9 he completed the puppet he uses to this day. Soon enough he started getting more and more interested in puppets and being a shinobi as well. he later graduated the academy at 11, it would have been earlier, but alot of the time he forgot about his graduation exams and start thinking of ways to modify his puppet or trying to perfect his puppet based techniques, which made him miss the exit exams until his parents made sure he went to his exit exam. Jutsus: Henge no jutsu Kawarimi no jutsu Bunshin no jutsu Kairai Ijou no jutsu: (Puppet Transferance Technique) Rank: D Description: This Jutsu was made by Tagawa himself, During his years at the academy he learned of one of disadvantages of being a puppet master is being left open for attack in hand to hand combat. he would have tried to learn some more taijutsu techniques but he figured he should be focusing on his puppetry since it is his main form of techniques. This technique is the result of basic chakra control, combined with his puppet techniques. He developed a technique that could use his chakra to strengthen his puppets defense and serve for offensive purposes as well. Using his chakra strings he is able to send additional chakra down the strings and into the puppets actual structure, causing the wood the puppet is made of to be enforced to a point where the wood and plating the puppet is made of becomes hard as steel, without changing its weight. This would result in a light but durable puppet shield as well as enhancing close combat efficiency, as it would be able to go hand to hand with someone without being as vulnerable to a powerful taijutsu attack. Unfortunately, Tagawa needs to send a constant stream of chakra into the puppet because for it to be reinforced properly, the chakra needed to flow around the puppets structure constantly dispersing most of the chakra given within seconds. so, when using this technique, his chakra slowly depletes because of the constant chakra needed for this technique to work. (Edit: I edited the personality a bit for more detail, but everything else was approved before by Noata in the forum before this. I do not know why i am stating this, just being random i guess lol) Edited by Tagawa, Jun 25 2010, 10:23 AM.
