Read in the paper today that Thai Police will start enforcing this law beginning in May. Cannot use cellphone while driving unless you are using a handsfree speaker. I've seen drivers taking very tight turns with one hand while talking on their cell phone with the other hand; hopefully this new law will be taken seriously and reduce road accidents |

I thought this law passed a long time ago. Sadly this will not discourage driver's from talking on the phone while driving. They can easily just pay 50 or 100 baht to the police if they actually feel like pulling them over and then be on their merry way. |
