I show my stories almost no one, or not many, but I don't mind sharing my poems. :)

I'm a moody person, and if I'm in the right mood I'll show 5 different people half of my works in one afternoon, but otherwise I keep them to myself. I also have those certain few I never show anybody.
Faith. Hope. Love. Vengeance. Heart. Pain. Charisma. Fate.

I also don't usually show anybody unless my story is done and edit...

there are some morbid poems that i refuse to show anyone.
but i let some people read my writing, because i want to share my stories with them, if i believe they are good, and see their opinions!

Nobody ever reads my work until it's been edited 'till I'm sick of editing it. Then I post it on a forum for critiques and further improvement before letting any of my friends read it, and even then, I'm very selective and prefer just to let my mum read it. :P

I've started showing my work to friends, folks on the internet, etc... but I refuse to show some of it to my parents. Part of that is because what I could show them without their reaction being "What are you writing?" isn't finished or cleaned up or going anywhere.

My social studies teacher, oddly enough, has taken an interest in my short stories, and if I ever get to writing something in German I'd probably show that to my German teacher, and one of my best friends is reading a novel that I've written as I edit it for the first time, and I need to show that to last year's English teacher for bragging purposes. So the number is growing.

I've let my Engliah teacher read a couple of my stories, but she runs the creative writing club at my school, so I'm not sure she counts. My head of house had a progress interview with me last term and she asked if she could read soem of my work. I politely said yes, but I'm not going to take any to her. :P

That's funny.

Sometimes I like not posting my work on the internet because I know that people are going to tell me what to change. Sometimes I just want somebody to read one of my stories...like if my sister or my grandma reads it, they're probably just reading it for fun, and I don't have to worry about them giving me a list of all the things that I need to change, if you know what I mean.
