Are there books that just should not be adapted into movies? Ever since the movie release of Annette Curtis Klause's novel Blood and Chocolate, I have been weary of movie adaptations. I didn't even see the movie adaptation of the novel because of the differences between the book and the film. Because of this, I'm both excited and a little nervous at what could have happened to Twilight - since it is one of my favorite novels. What do you guys think? Am I being too unwilling to see a great book from a different point of view? Or are there just some novels that should never be adapted into movies? |

I think it's ok for novels to be made into movies unless it's very poorly written, or they can't make it like the book. And if a movie is supposed to follow the book, but it's made in a different point a view, don't even bother. Or create a new title for it, or the fans will be really disappointed. |
