Observer of all Posts: 2,337 Group: Root Administrator Member #1 Joined: Jan 29, 2008	Since this is our first WR contest, I thought we'd start out with something kind of weird. This will be called: Socks on a Tree What I want you to do is write a page long (make sure it's a page! No more, no less) poem about socks that're hanging on a tree. Length: 80 words Font: Times New Roman Font Size: 12 Starting Date: March 27th End Date: April 2ed Also, I'm trying to think of a prize but I can't think of anything. I'm open for ideas. EDITED: I've desided that 1 page is too long, so i'm shortening it. You can write it how ever long you would like, but it has to be at least 80 words. I run down the stairs and then out the back door, And still they are there, no less but much more! So confused am I, how can it be? There are Socks, socks! Up in our oak tree! How did they get there-I feel I must know All I know now is I want them to go! I see one more fall, up from the sky All I cant think to myself is "Oh why!?" I look up and notice my small bedroom window And see thats it's there the socks from from and...uh-oh. My mother had told me to put them to wash Now I remember! I told her pish posh! You see I didnt put them in that clothes machine, I hung them from my window and just let them lean. Quick I must clean them before she will see that there're Socks, socks! Up in our oak tree!
