How much did you write today?; Because I want to know!

Observer of all Posts: 2,337 Group: Root Administrator Member #1 Joined: Jan 29, 2008	Every time you write something (wrote a poem or story...worked on your story, etc.), if you want to let people know, just post here. If you did it on the computer, say what font size you used, and then either how many words you wrote, or how many pages, or even if you just want to say "I worked on my story today!" If you wrote it in a notebook, just say how many pages of notebook paper you used. :) Alrighty, I'll start. I half edited, half re-wrote part of a chapter in my story, and it was about two pages of notebook paper.

Random Words Posts: 22 Group: Writers+ Member #94 Joined: May 12, 2009	I edited my lyrics (which still needs more tune into it O.o) and my poems, and finished off one more poem. All together, I'm estimating that I wrote five pages in my notebook--excluding scrap paper for rough drafts.

Observer of all Posts: 2,337 Group: Root Administrator Member #1 Joined: Jan 29, 2008	Lykaios I have done nothing, as of yet, but I intend to finish chapter seven-point-five of my book tonight. :) Seven-point-five? Does your book actually say 'Chapter 7.5'? Or are you just saying that that's what part you're finishing? I love hearing about writers writing...I have no idea why, but I think it's because when I was younger I didn't know of any writers, and now I know of a lot of writers (that aren't authors yet)! Yesterday my goal was to write at least a paragraph of the chapter I'm re-writing in my notebook, but I wrote even more than that, and I was very pleased with myself. :P Today I'm planning to write at least another paragraph (I just wrote one about five minutes ago). I know it doesn't sound like much, but on the days that I won't have much time to write I'm trying to squeeze in at least a little writing time. (If I set a goal for myself and I don't get to it by the end of the day, I become less motivated...when I accomplish that day's goal however, I feel more confident that I can do it the next day, if that makes sense.) EDIT: Oh and by the way, I'm glad you're back, Thundra! Okay, I'm done now. :P Edited by Allyson, May 19 2009, 11:20 AM.

Crayon Posts: 1,216 Group: Global Moderators Member #10 Joined: Mar 23, 2008	Well, at the momemnt it's called 7.5 because I have a chapter 7 and a chapter 8, and I figured that this chapter needed to be moved to somewhere in the middle. I have a chapter 4.5 and 12.5 too. :P My English teacher says I should leave it like that if I ever get it published in the future, just to confused people and be a little different. :D I rewrote a little of Chapter 8 today and edited some bits of chaper 5. Not much.

I wrote practically nothing today, except another attempt at prose which I titled "trains". Something littered with metallic hearts and some entity that discloses something. I don't know, I was feeling sinister when I wrote it.
	Everybody loves the universe. If you can look past the black holes, the rogue asteroids, the gym teachers, and that paper boy who keeps throwing your magazines into the bushes, it's a simple place most of us can call a happy home. It's a good thing. However, even the obviously non-sentient universe has a sense of irony. You see, the universe is going to end. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not 10120 years from now, but it will happen. One of the ways science predicts our inevitable demise is by pissing off God. But that's another story. Instead, another way that science predicts the universe will cease to function is through the "heat death of the universe" theory.
