I envy you so much. At the moment I'm struggling with the critic inside me, and I'm having to force myself to just write. :(

My inner critic drives me crazy and I always have to force myself too. At the moment I'm doing a lot of rewrites because the original stuff has either been chnaged so it doesn't fit or it was one of my 'panic nano' momnets so came out terribly. Rewriting is easier than writing afresh, which is why I feel like I've done loads. :)

My inner editor hates me. He gets especially angry when I use Write or Die.

Lykaios, do you like chess?

I used to play all the time, but I haven't played a person in years now. My brother cheats, my mum says she'll never understand how to play and refuses to be taugth, my stepdad will play but he's got a short attention plan and doesn't like games that go on for over five minutes (so we never finish).

The only person in my family who can play is my dad, he taught me to play, but he lives abroad so . . . I play the computer on my laptop when I'm bored. :P

Why?

Keep it on topic, guys. Next time, bjullie, keep it to a PM instead of derailing a whole topic.

I've found that my inner critic doesn't bother me as much if I write at night. I think since I'm tired I'm just like, "Whatever..." so I can write a lot more.

Sorry.

Me too!
I do barely any writing during the day, my mind just wwanders to things like food and books and everything else I should be doing. At night I can do anything because there are no distractions. My family are all asleep so it's quiet and I've already done everything that needs doing. :)

At weekeneds I like the small hours of the morning, but during the week it's like 10-12pm because of school.

[I'm posting this at five past one in the morning. :P ]
