I sort of stole this topic from YWO, so I'm not giving credit to myself for this. :)

So what are they? (series, or single books, and you can put the author, but you don't have to) I think...

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
2. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
3. The Bronze Bow
4. The Witch of Black Bird Pond
5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Yeah, sorry most of them are Harry Potter...I don't read that much, I couldn't think of any other books I liked. I very picky. I'm about to read Ink Heart and Ink Spell...I have them on CD in my room right now, but I haven't gotten around to listening to them yet. Maybe I'll edit my list once I read them...if I think they're good.

Most of the books I read are parts of series, so I'll do two lists.

2. Ways to Live Forever - Sally Nicholls
3. Maddigan' Fantasia
4. The Declaration - Gemma Malley (it has a sequel but I haven't read it yet)
5. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - John Boyne

Series
1. The Cat Royal series - Julia Golding
2. Wind on Fire Trilogy - William Nicholson
3. Inkheart Trilogy - Cornelia Funke
4. Lionboy Trilogy - Zizou Corder
5. Peter and the Starcatchers trilogy

don't be afraid to say what you think!
Your idea will always be better! No matter what someone else thinks!

My puppy is so cute!! But the puppy for my avatar is cuter!! Allyson don't tell my puppy I said that!! He'll get mad.
I love writing but not as much as I did last year in 6th grade, because my teacher made it fun and also because we actually did WRITING last year not boring ENGLISH. No offense to my English teacher. She makes it more fun than it should be. But it's just not as fun as actually working on stories in school. The stuff she taught us about, like writing teqnique, gave me ideas and I actually wrote some pretty neat stuff, but I can't think of anything to write now!!

Sorry, I'm just sort of saying random stuff right now. l0l. I feel random. Oh look!! A butterfly!! JK.
I really do not tolerate the words as follows:
fuck
shit
hell
dick
So I would not like you to say them in my prescence!! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

@Eliza, Ender's Game is amazing.

Guess I can't really rank them, but I'll give you five "must-reads".

The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time, and the Texture of Reality - Brian Greene (As boring as it sounds, it's told in such an interesting way ... that, well, you lose yourself in its dimension)
The Wasp Factory - Iain Banks
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel - Suzanne Clarke
How to Think About the Great Ideas: From the Great Books of Western Civilization - Mortimer J. Addler (Comedic philosophy. :])
The Girl on the Landing - Paul Torday.

I could spawn endless lists of good books.

Everybody loves the universe. If you can look past the black holes, the rogue asteroids, the gym teachers, and that paper boy who keeps throwing your magazines into the bushes, it's a simple place most of us can call a happy home. It's a good thing. However, even the obviously non-sentient universe has a sense of irony. You see, the universe is going to end. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not 10120 years from now, but it will happen. One of the ways science predicts our inevitable demise is by pissing off God. But that's another story. Instead, another way that science predicts the universe will cease to function is through the "heat death of the universe" theory.

Man, this is a hard one to pin down xD

Stole Lykaios's idea to do two lists (yay for originality! :P ). Series are ranked in order, books aren't.

Series
  • JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series (18+ warning!!)
  • Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell series (16+ warning)
  • JK Rowling's Harry Potter series

Books
  • Anthem - Ayn Rand
  • Interpretation of Dreams - Sigmund Freud (still working on this. Frued's fascinated me for ages)
  • The Night I Disappeared - Julie Reece Deaver
  • The Dark Half - Stephen King
  • Alas, Babylon - Pat Frank

Too many good books to really pick from x3
