Ok, I have no idea what's up about these two books. Are they by the same person? Are they good? Are they in a series or separate? Would you recommend one of them? I'm interested in reading them/one, but I have no clue about them. Please help!

READ THEM.

I cannot express how good the Inkheart Trilogy is. Brilliant! Amazing! Awesome!

Order of books:

1. Inkheart
2. Inkspell
3. Inkdeath

All are by Cornelia Funke, who is amazing in her own right. :)

The books are very complex but when you're reading them, it' like you already know everything about the world they're set in. The detail is exquisite and the way she controls all of her characters at the same time as keeping the book inside a book real is utter brilliance.

The first book is rather different to the last two as it was written as a standalone book. It's slower paced and doesn't leave this world, where Inkspell and Inkdeath are almost intirely set in the 'Inkworld'. The plot twists so much and the characters are so real it's like they're standing beside you in the second two. And they're all translated from German. So now I don't believe what people say about translated books.

So yea. If you have the opportunity, read them and bathe in the brilliance of a great writer who can describe the indescribable.

Thanks! I'll try to find those books on CD (I find books more interesting on CD). :)
