Do you think that if you were born into a family where your mother and father and siblings are good at writing, you'd be a good writer as well? Explain your answer!

Well, I think it's like anything else along those lines.. science, athletics, etc. It depends on how you incoporate the activity/field into your childhood, sometimes it works out, and sometimes it drives you to hating it. I don't think anything in genetics automatically makes you have talent in say, inventing, but you see families full of inventors through the generations, and it's just because that's what they grew up with.

I don't think it would necessarily make you a good writer, but if you had parents to teach you and help you, and a family who supported you, it would probably make a difference.

I write because of reverse psycology. My dad told me I should be a nurse or a lawer instead, so I'm not sure it'd work for me.

My aunt on my mum's side is a journalist in Berlin though for the DW news, so maybe I get something from her?
