Observer of all Posts: 2,337 Group: Root Administrator Member #1 Joined: Jan 29, 2008	Ok, the theme (as you've probably guessed) is birthday cake, since WR is having a birthday. I want you to write a funny or non-funny story about a kid who, for his birthday, ends up with his face smooshed into his birthday cake. Maybe he did it on purpose or somebody pushed his face in...I don't know. You decide! It needs to be about 750 words long, or you can just make it about 600, but you have a better chance of winning if it's 750. ;) However! If you would like to write a poem, that's fine too, and I would like it to be no more than half a page long (font size 12). Deadline is the 28th, and the winner will be announced in the Front Headlines. I will be judging, since hopefully the active members will be participating, but we'll wait and see. :) Prizes: - Your story or poem will be posted in the Hall of Honored Work, where the winning stories and poems to contests will be. (The Hall of Honored Work is still to come) - You will be allowed to create a Writer's Realm forum event on the calendar. The winner will pick one of these prizes. Start....now! No, not yet...NOW!
