Because it's a place where you can meet other writers (good or bad), and be able to post your work where others can read it. In other wards, you have a chance to make your writing known! What if the writer's here are mean to me, and say horrible things about my work? This probably isn't going to happen in WR, but if it does, just remember that there are admin here to make sure that everything is in control. If someone starts talking bad about you, we'll close the topic. What if my work isn't good? Should I just not post it on this writing website? Of course not! We welcome all writing. It doesn't matter how bad it is. Does this site offer advice about writing? I don't want to join and then not learn anything. WR doesn't just give advice when you ask for it, but you can also have some advice just from reading other member's stories. This way, if you read advice that someone posted about this person's story, you might find your writing is a little the same, so that's a good piece of advice for you too. I'm use to talking like: sup w/ all u? r u ok? cum on! Is that ok? As long as I don't get any complaints, and your writing is understandable. Are we allowed to advertise in PMs? No.
