Thanks to my fiance, Viral Dragon and his mother, it looks like Icey's on her way to becoming a published author! :D My pride and joy, the second novel I've actually finished, was sent in to Midnight Showcase Fiction and they're interested. The Resort is posted, at full length, here at Writers Realm, in the Older Audiences forum (posted there because it is 18+ romance) - however this is not the final product. I have currently been in the process of writing the simultaneous third/fourth drafts for the story (third being handwritten, fourth being the edited typed product). The first seven or eight chapters are being scrapped for a complete overhaul - as well as points in the plotline and description (not to mention, my writing style changes in the above link around maybe chapter seven or eight, and changes again later in the story). To see the real change in my style, and what I mean by complete overhaul, you can read the comparisons between drafts two and three at The Hallow Life. I'm really nervous and excited and terrified and...well you get it. But omg, becoming a serious writer has been my dream since I was like, twelve, maybe. And Viral and his mother have nudged me in the right direction. Major thanks goes to both because I wouldn't have gotten the guts to do it myself at this stage. Lol.
